"I'm not going to help you take Lorenzo down," I said.
Leonardo's guard threw me into this room, that was made out of stone. After I told him I wasn't going to help him, he didn't say a word. The next thing I knew, he called someone in and clapped his hands and the person grabbed me.
I knew this would happen since I didn't accept his offer. He probably saw it coming because his guard knew what to do in one simple clap.
I'm not even on a chair. The guard just dumped me in here.
I have come up with 1000 scenarios of how this may end and it's a matter of time before I found which scenario is the lucky winner.
I've grown to not be afraid of getting kidnapped and not knowing what was going to happen to me.
One thing I've definitely learned is to not show how you're really feeling. The person doesn't care whether you're crying your heart out, or if you're terrified.
I guess I always knew that. It didn't matter if they were a kidnapper or just a normal person. I always knew that showing too much emotion would only end up badly.
What I don't believe in, is being heartless would make things a lot easier.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when someone opened the door. It was the boy that brought me to Leonardo.
"I should have believed you." He spoke
I nodded. "Yeah," I said. "It's a bit too late for that," I added.
He nodded. He went out of the room for a few minutes and returned with two foldable chairs. He gave me one and I thanked him with a smile. After he was situated, he started talking.
"I have a plan." He said.
"To do what exactly?" I asked.
He rolled his eyes as I looked at him in confusion.
"To go hunting for unicorns!" He said enthusiastically.
I started laughing. "Ooo, I love that," I spoke sarcastically.
He smiled which I thought would never happen.
"I want to help you escape and I want to take down Leonardo." He said.
I looked at him in astonishment.
"You want to help me take down your stepbrother?" I asked.
"Yes." He answered.
"Why?" I asked.
I was very curious to find out why he wanted to help me. The first time we met I would think he hated me. He probably still does but he must hate Leonardo more.
"Leonardo wants to kill you and he's not acting normal. When I mean to bring him down I don't mean kill him. I want him to go to another city or country." He explained.
