"Are you ready?" He asked

"Are you ready?" He asked.

I looked up at him and nodded. He walked out of the room and I heard him talking with the two guards. The guards didn't seem to buy it but luckily he was a very persistent person.

Two minutes later I see the two guards walking upstairs. I made sure they were out of sight before I walked out.

I was about to walk outside when he pulled me back.

"Don't walk carelessly,"  I said.

I shook his hand off me and opened the door and walked out.

He followed after me. When I realised I had no clue where I was going, I looked behind me.

"What?" He asked.

"I don't know where to go," I answered.

He chuckled and walked in front of me.

We passed this wonderful green garden and I stopped to stare at it. There were many flowers but the ones I recognized were daffodils, daisies and calendulas.

Bushes were surrounding the flowers. I spotted one cactus over beside the baby blue painted shed.

"Why is there one single cactus beside the shed?" I blurted out.

"I don't know, why do you care?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I was just wondering," I answered.

Once we were in the house again, I knew where to go. I ran in front of him and towards the foyer.

I could hear him shout my name. I looked behind and saw him shaking his head.

I ignored it and looked forward again. I saw someone step in front of me and I tripped.

The person looked down at me and smirked. I didn't recognise this person, but they may have been a guard. "Trying to escape?" He asked.

Before I could respond Leonardo's stepbrother came up from behind me and grabbed my waist and pulled me up.

"I'm sorry." He whispered in my ear, so I was the only one who could hear.

"Wh-?" I didn't get to finish my sentence because he decided to speak.

"Sorry guard, she got away but that won't happen." He spoke.

He put my hands behind my back.

"I'm taking her outside for a little fresh air." He added.

The guard looked between him and me. He didn't look convinced.

"Should I escort her instead?" The guard asked.

He shook his head. "No, no I'm fine. I can take care of her. You should go have lunch. I think the cooks have made some really good sandwiches." He said.
