So, here are my burning questions:
Do you prefer serious stories, where there's some kind of unrest for the reader and the character comforts him/them.... OR..... the more lighthearted ones, with no real 'problems,' just pure fluff only
Do you prefer the reader's trans identity to be a decently big part of the story, or just implied casually?
Would you prefer me to write he/they, or just he? (Here's an example of what I mean here: (Y/n) raised his/their hand) In other words, do you want me to give you the option to choose? Similarly, would you like some one shots to use strictly they/them pronouns? I know I started this book solely for trans male readers, but I know some of you use they/them pronouns only, or in addition to he/him, so I don't want to be insensitive if that's the case.
Would you like me to write more for female characters? I don't have as much experience or motivation there, but I'll write it if you want it! But just..you know how slow I am to update.
Are you annoyed that almost all my one shots are My Hero Academia or Bungou Stray Dogs? I know it gets pretty repetitive, and that I'm writing for the same characters over and over again. It's just, most of my ideas center around my own comfort characters, and so that's who I write for.
I think I had more questions but I forgot. But yeah..I'd like to know what you guys think, so I can make this book better!
Do you guys like first, second, or third point of view better? I find it harder to write in first but I can. I think second is probably the easiest to write. (Just in case you don't know! First POV uses I, my, etc. Second POV uses you, your, etc. Third POV uses he, his, they, them, etc.)
Do you guys like songfics? I know it's probably kind of weird/cringe/whatever, I just really take inspiration from songs sometimes.
I know most of the time I write about readers having a poor relationship with their family..it's hard for me to write supportive family, since I don't really have any experience with it, but I could if you guys wanted? Or I could even write some platonic one shots, with characters being parents/siblings/whatever. Idk. I know not everyone is in the kind of family situation I'm in, and I feel bad that I strictly write bad family situations.
And finally, this is just a kind of vague question but..What do you, you individually, think I should do to improve this book? What could I do that you think would be beneficial? Name one thing, name twenty seven, name however many you've got! The whole purpose of this was to get reader feedback on what you guys think I could improve on!
Also, here's another vague one: What's one thing you think I've been doing wrong, or not well enough? This is kind of like the previous question but not really. That's more of a 'what would you like to see me do?' This is more 'what would you like me to STOP doing?'
