s1 had no pressure of "making mistakes" because no one had expectations lmao. s2 is a different case unfortunately but that doesn't mean they didn't do some things right.

okay maybe this is half a highlight half a letdown? because istg i LOVED their dynamic in spite of the very few scenes they actually had together. they were hella funny and i wish we got to see them bond more over the pressure of beating north high. i needed more of this duo!! but i'm glad we got to see them together no matter how litte screentime they got because there was such a high chance that the show wouldn't make them interact as much since there was so much drama on the side.

east high putting up an almost flawless production after the mess that was hsm was a pleasant surprise. the quality of their costumes and performances were amazing (their make-up? the beast and gaston were... questionable but we can look past that). plot wise i don't think it makes sense lmao when you think about how the entire season showed that were not ready at all. though i'm not complaining! just wish we saw more!
