that happened.
no bc this was actually a great episode and a bad one all at once???
+ ngl i was half right about ricky's birthday. they surprise him in the beginning of the day,,, but no one rly has gifts or prepared anything at all. it's only big red who comes in with a cake. after that first scene,,, no one rly cares or brings it up. i'm surprised by his birthday not being a bigger plot point in the episode.
+ yeah,,, val comes up to give gina advice and say goodbye,,, but gina never apologizes for everything she said about val?
+ this is me was good ig but out of nowhere LMAO,,, i GAGGED when it started bc i haven't seen emmy since episode 2??? ik she was in episode 5 but i hardly remembered that lol. it started rly abruptly and i kept thinking that i knew nothing about this girl at all 😭 ((the montage was good but cheesy at moments...))
+ kourtney was a damn highlight. i like what they did with her,,, how climbing the wall in the last episode wasn't a finished solution,,, it was only a step forward. she killed let it go,,, that was one of the best scenes in the episode. lmao and rini is so iconic that they reuse the phone//flashlight moment for that number 😭 i'm so proud of kourtney and rly i only loved gina in this episode when she turned the lights back on and said "don't get me started".
+ does ashlyn want to break up with big red lmaoo??? they were on different pages in their scene together fr but after they acted like everything was okay. idk how big red's reveal ((iconic)) changes this,,, but i'm 99% sure ashlyn will end up with maddox. don't rly know how i feel about this bc redlyn breaking up after big red saying how he felt about her would be a shame. madlyn isn't bad either tho.

+ that ej and val scene was heartbreaking... one of the best scenes of the episode. i always wished they would go into ej's relationship with his dad bc it was clear his parents were neglectful. what's terrible about it is that he couldn't rely on the wildcats for support.
+ "nini's here?" THE LOOK ON RICKY'S FACE??? HIS VOICE WHEN HE ASKED???? HIS EYES??? it was so soft. he wasn't expecting her to show up at all i'm crying
