SEASON THREE IS STREAMING JULY 27.
words cannot describe how excited i am bc i can't wait to have my comfort characters on screen again.
my hopes for this season is surprisingly high lmao,, that trailer and the poster above? yeah they restored my hope in this show.
they're bringing back the love triangle with the core 3, camp rock songs are gonna slap, frozen is an interesting choice to pull off, gina getting her main character moment is going to be great, and the camp set up itself is smth to anticipate. but also: not sure how i feel about the eighth grader kids in the cast lmao - ik they're talented but i don't know why they're there? several things can go wrong too if the pacing is going to fail with such few episodes,,
but no matter how high the season soars or how low it falls, i'll still love the show lmao
so !! here are my s3 theories/thoughts to warm us up for the new season!
1. love triangle & rina

we all saw this coming and any portwells trying to deny it and deny the inevitable downfall of the ship is lying to themselves lmao.
i'm surprised they showed rina in the trailer though bc as much as it's obvious this is the route they'd go,, i was thinking they were gonna try and trick us into believing the lily situation is a big deal.
but anyway, it's obvious: portwell will break up. but unsure whether or not rina will happen end of s3 or in s4 instead. if all goes how i think it's gonna go, i think the love triangle would be the big deal of s3. and i'm assuming ricky and gina will prevail by the end of it? but now that there's a s4, i wonder what that means for rina. bc it's either they get together at the end of the season and go through huge lows in s4 or they are only hinted to be endgame at the end of s3 so that s4 will be when they rise. (bc let's face it: in this show, a relationship between main characters only last for a season so a rina breakup in s4 if they get together in s3 wouldn't be surprising but if rina truly is endgame, the writers will make it work. i don't mind that outcome actually,, rina is my second favorite ship. so if not rini,, then rina it is.)
