My consciousness comes back as I feel the sun hitting my face. My clock reads 9:00am, and my eyes widen. I wince and close my eyes again, as it is so bright in my room. Slowly I get out of bed and brush my teeth. Once I'm done I get dressed and since I am officially a ninja, I decide to start training with a new weapon.

Under my bed I have two silver sai with flames engraved in the handle. I've always admired people who use sai as a weapon, and wanted to learn how to use them. Never have I met a person who uses them in their fighting style, so I read pretty much every book that even mentions sai and fighting with them.

I didn't want Naruto knowing that I had them, so I never pulled them out in front of him. In truth, I stole the Sai from a ninja passing through the village. Probably wasn't the right thing to do, but that doesn't really matter to me. Naruto would be scared to even have them in the house as he doesn't like anything that 'stabs'. Funnily enough, his weapon of choice is a kunai, which is meant to stab people. I assume Naruto just doesn't want to say that it's me he doesn't trust with something dangerous. In all the books I've read, it seems that sai are used to deal a lot of damage. Their three prongs usually have jagged ends that tear through and shred flesh. If Naruto knew this, he'd be terrified to have them in the house. Since it's just me on my team though, I can use any weapon I want.

Gripping the sai in my hand I realize how light weight they are. I notice that they definitely aren't meant for slicing anything, but rather stabbing something. I always knew this, and the thought of actually having to stab someone almost scares me, but it also sends an odd feeling of anticipation and excitement to my mind. Even if I didn't stab a person, practicing on a dummy would be fun.

I strap one of each sai to the outside of each thigh. They are both higher on my thigh than my weapon pouch. My feet drag over to the kitchen and I grab an apple, as I run out the door. Setami Sensei didn't tell me when or where we were training today, so I decide to go watch Naruto at training ground 12.

Once I arrive at the training ground I hear a loud screech and I know it's Sakura. I wonder what could possibly be going on, running over only to see her passed out on the ground. My hand hovers over her mouth to see that she is breathing. My eyes wander around, what could have possibly spooked her that much, when I see Sasuke's head sticking out from the ground. My face remains blank as I assess the situation. The black haired boy is stuck in the ground, with only his neck up visible. His eyes are looking down, clearly annoyed and embarrassed.

"Damn, your Sensei must be a real pain." I say to him, just staring at him.

"Hn," was all he said, but he looks at me expectantly. My eyes dart to his, and I realize he wants me to help him out. That damn kid is too stubborn. My blank expression turns into a smirk as I walk away. "I'm not your teammate, don't expect anything from me!" I tease as I walk away, still smirking.

I see Kakashi reading his book and sitting down on a log. Naruto is tied to a stick in the ground, and I swear I heard his stomach rumble from here. My eyes study him for a second, and I decide to walk through the crunchy grass and over to him.

"Hey Madi," He says, not looking up from his book. "What're you doing here?"

Plopping myself onto the ground in front of him and laying my back down, I hear the grass crunch melodically and I put my hand on my forehead. Kakashi ends up looking away from his book and down to me. He gives a small smile, or at least that's what I think it is, all I can see is his tilted head and closed eye.

I let out a sigh I didn't realize I was holding in and ask him, "Do you know where I can find Setami Sensei?"

Kakashi looked up to face the sky as if he was thinking about something. I notice the bells on his side, dangling in the wind. Is this what they're trying to take? It was definitely Kakashi that put Sasuke into the ground no one else could have, and it's not like they were sparring, right? There must've been an objective, and for Kakashi to trap Sasuke like that, he must be keeping him away from something. Naruto was easier to stop than Sasuke, so that's why ninjutsu wasn't used to contain Naruto, but it was used on Sasuke. I'm sure of it. The game they're playing is 'Steal the bell from Kakashi Sensei', and I wanted to play.
