Upon entry we see three silhouettes. There's three men standing up right, and lights shines upon their faces. One of them is significantly shorter than the rest, and looks more like a machine than a person. This one I assume is Sasori. The one standing next to Sasori has blonde hair tied into a pony, and a weird scope on his eye. A playful smirk plays on his lips and he appears to be standing on something. To the left of the blonde, appears the man I've come to know as Itachi. So this is where he was when he sent a fake after us? He too appears to be standing next to a limp figure sprawled across the floor.

My eyes seem to adjust to the lights and see the two lifeless beings on the ground. The one the blonde is standing on has red hair, and I make a guess that it's Gaara. Next to Itachi lays a familiar girl, with bright green hair. Setami Sensei seems to be unconscious, and Itachi stares directly at me.

"You bastards!" Naruto screams as he goes barreling at the three Akatsuki members. With great speed I make my way in front of Naruto.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed?" I say and push the boy back.

"They have Gaara!" Naruto exclaims and tries to rush past me.

I stop the blonde and look him dead in the eye, "They have Setami too, calm down and think this out."

Naruto finally calms down and I turn around to see the S-rank rogues.

"Ahhhh, so if Itachi's words are true, you must be the two jinjuriki. The one who barks first and rushes in, and the one to calm the flame," examines the blonde ninja.

"Diedara, you must complete orders. You as well Itachi, and hurry. I don't appreciate being kept waiting," Sasori said. His voice was deep and sinister, it sent a shiver down my spine.

The one called Diedara summons a large bird. The blonde then hops on the bird while the white dove takes Gaara in his mouth. Diedara then flies out of the cave, causing Naruto to run after him. My gaze turns to Kakashi, who seems awfully conflicted.

"On this mission, it would be better if Naruto and I are apart. I swear to you I will get Setami back, but I need you to help my brother for now," I plead with Kakashi.

He grabs my face in his hands, "I know Madi, please just get her back. Naruto needs me." I nod to him and he goes running after the whiskered boy.

Sakura and Lady Chiyo prepare to fight when Itachi picks up Setami. "Put her down!" Sakura screams at him, and I narrow my eyes at the familiar Uchiha.

"I have to go," Itachi says and runs past us all. He's insanely fast, but I made sure to place a kunai on the outside of the cave. Quickly I transport to it, just in time to kick Itachi in the side. The ninja stumbles, but continues. His expression seems shocked to see the jutsu I've come to master, but it fades just as suddenly as it came.

Itachi makes it to a clearing in the woods before placing down Setami's limp figure. A rage fuels my body as I stare at my lifeless Sensei, and I can feel myself losing it.

"This isn't a fight you're going to win, it would be wise if you backed down now," Itachi claimed and looked at me with a blank face.

A familiar chakra starts to rise, and I realize what's going on. "I don't care if I win, it doesn't even matter if I die. The person you're standing next to, she's one of the three most important people to me. I will get her body back, even at the cost of my own life." My voice is poisonous, and even Itachi's eyes widen from his bored look.

"You don't even bother to look away from my eyes, you're being careless," he tells me.

An orange substance becomes visible, surrounding my body. At this very moment, I realize that Setami isn't going to wake up any time soon... What did they do to her?

Heat surrounds me like a cloak. How long has it been since I've let him out? I'm sure he's dying for a good fight. A red tints my vision and my nails turn into claws. How I've missed this feeling. An evil grin sprouts on my face, and I can feel my teeth getting sharper. Once more, my eyes meet with Itachi's, "You are scary Itachi, your name makes everyone shudder, and even talking about you is considered taboo." As I speak it sounds more like a growl. My voice is loud enough for him to hear, but the tone is still low. "Although this is all true, have you heard of the name Kurama? I assume so but if you haven't that is the name of the demon inside of me, the demon you search for so desperately. You may be scary Uchiha, but you're still human..." Itachi's eyes are wide, and he gets into a defensive position. My growls turn into a baleful laugh, "YOU MAY BE HUMAN, BUT ME? ME? I AM SO MUCH MORE!"

As I run at him, I'm faster than ever. Itachi has his Sharingan activated, and I prepare an attack. Holding a ball of Kurama's chakra in my hand, I launch it at Itachi. He dodges and my hand hits the ground, causing a massive crater. My body jolts around to see Itachi preparing hand signs and I do the same. A storm cloud appears over me, and suddenly the entire sky gets cloudy. Lightning brews in the sky, and Itachi hits me with a fire attack. He shoots two massive balls of fire my way, but I dodge and run towards Itachi. Three lightning bolts come down from the sky and at him. He manages to dodge all three of them, but it gives me an opening to hit him with a ball of concentrated chakra. The impact launches him across the field, and his body rips up the ground under him.

Kurama's chakra only grows stronger and stronger around me. The thought of ripping out Itachi's throat is the only thing my mind is locked on. My feet carry me at crazy speeds over to where he should be laying on the ground, but he isn't there. As I jolt around, I see Itachi looking directly at me, and I made the fatal mistake of looking in his eyes.

Suddenly I'm helpless. My body is tied to a cross, and a familiar Itachi stands in front of me. His eyes look devious, and I know this isn't good.

"You were careless," he spat, and stabbed a kunai into my knee. A scream escaped from me, but it isn't too bad.

"I will kill you, Itachi" I hiss at him, but I know I don't have any means to do that at the moment.

He sighs and stabs another kunai into my shoulder, "I was almost scared of you."

"Next time we meet, you'll be terrified," I answer, my voice malevolent.

"I'm sure I will be."

This seems to go on forever, and I wish he'd just kill me. Every time he stabs me, it hurts immensely. Then he would take the kunai out, I'd heal, and he'd do it again. This cycle felt like it would never end, until I felt myself return to my own two feet.

More than anything I wanted to fall. I wanted to let myself go and pass out, die, forget all the pain I've gone through, but my eyes gaze to Setami's lifeless body and I know I can't. Itachi is standing where he started and I realize it's the same thing he did to Kakashi. No time has passed, and he looks the same but significantly weaker.

Once again I call on Kurama. My body shouldn't be in any condition to wield his power, but I need it in order to defeat him. My legs steady out and it gets easier to walk. A thick bed of lightning covers my right hand and up my arm, as I rush over to Itachi who tries to recover. Before he can realize what's going on, I punch him in the stomach, causing his robe to burn and him to go flying across the field once more. I didn't have enough strength to penetrate him, but he should be down for at least ten seconds.

I take hold of Setami's body and throw her over my back. Itachi lies limp in the ground and I spit on him as I walk by. There's no strength in my body left to fight, and I know I probably couldn't finish him off if I tried. With Setami on my back, I try to hold back tears as I head back towards the hideout.
