Foul Love (Sasuke x OC)

When I arrive, Lady Chiyo and Sakura look exhausted, but thankfully alive. The old hag looks worse than Sakura, and she seems awfully weak. Even weaker than before. Sakura's green eyes glance to my back and she sees an unconscious figure. Her eyes dance around as she tries to hold back tears.

"Tears aren't going to help, we just need to get her healed," I say to Sakura.

"Okay, let's find Naruto and Kakashi. Then we can find a place to heal both Gaara and Setami Sensei," the pinkette answers.

I nod my head and we all start off towards where Naruto and Kakashi went. Now that Kurama and I are back on speaking terms, he leads me to him but not without warning. He says that Naruto has been consumed by the other half of him, and has fully used the power of two tails. With this I'm sure to be careful, and look for any signs of a spike in chakra.

Eventually we make our way to them, and are almost caught in one of Deidara's explosions, but Kakashi gets him away by using his Mangekyo Sharingan. The strain that Kakashi has put on his eyes causes him to pass out, and we all find our way to an open field. I lay down Setami's body and Naruto lays out Gaara's. The green haired woman has lost the spark once in her eyes, and I can't wait to see it come back.

"Sakura, can you heal them now?" I ask her quietly.

Sakura nods her head and makes her way over to Gaara's limp body. She tried continuously to bring the life back to their faces, but it's useless. Eventually Temari and Kankuro find us, and stare at the horrific sight upon them.

Lady Chiyo nudges Sakura out of the way and starts to perform a jutsu. Naruto has an outrage when the old lady starts to do something to Gaara, but reassured him that she's going to save him. When Lady Chiyo seems to be failing, Naruto offers some of her chakra to him.

"Stop!" I yell at the two once I realize what it's going to do. "Stop! If you do this you won't be able to heal Setami! You have to save her!" I scream and my voice starts to crack. I try to rush over to them, but I'm held back by Sakura.

"The sand needs their leader," Lady Chiyo says, not looking up to me.

"Please! I'm begging you! She has a husband! And two daughters! One of them is only two years old! She won't even be old enough to remember her own mother!" I plead with Lady Chiyo, but she won't even turn to me. "Stop! It's going to kill you! Use your life on Setami you bastard! You're useless! God damn you!" Now all the sand shinobi stare at me. My eyes fill with tears, and I try so hard to get out of Sakura's grasps. "That man over there! The unconscious one! How do you think he's gonna feel when he wakes up to his dead wife?! Everyone he's ever loved dies, and this time it's because of you! You're nothing but scum!" My eyes veer to Naruto, who is still helping Lady Chiyo, "Naruto! Why are you doing this? Don't help her! You knew Setami, you knew how amazing she was and you're just letting her die! You're helping this happen!"

Naruto looks up at me with sad eyes. Everyone is staring at me and I just collapse to my knees. Sakura's grip on me finally recedes and Lady Chiyo takes her final breath. Air can't seem to find my lungs and I choke on my sobs. My body crawls over to Setami's corpse, holding it tightly in my arms. Loud screams of pain echo through the field, and everyone seems to stare at me. Tears pour from my eyes and I dig my head into Setami's still chest. This moment feels worse than my time in Itachi's genjutsu. I'd rather live my life like that than experience this pain.

"DAMN IT!" I scream out and all the birds seem to fly into the sky. My fist digs into the ground and I create a crater under Setami and I. My eyes veer around me and I see nothing but scared looks on everyone's faces. Gai's obviously been crying and so has Sakura. Naruto just looks at me with a worried expression, but I can't stand to look at him right now.
