"What?" Sasuke asked.
My mind was just starting to make sense, but I really didn't mean to ask that question. He wouldn't understand anyways, he only had one goal.
Despite this, I push my question. "Why'd you bring me here?"
"It was an order," was his answer. That's to be expected, he hasn't changed. He never cared. Now I don't either.
"That's what I expected you to say." My voice is still weak and I can't meet his eyes. Truth be told, I thought I was happy to see Sasuke again for a second. I thought , 'Maybe he hadn't changed' or 'Maybe he's the person I remember'. I should've known it was false hope. He is hot though, if anything is the same. Now it's different, I feel more desires. Things I didn't feel when I was young, things I wish I didn't feel. Everytime his gaze met with my own, something churned inside of me.
The air was still for a second. Neither of us said or did anything at all. It was like everything had stopped.
Sasuke broke the silence, "What happened while you were out?"
This was the question I was hoping he wouldn't ask. "You forced me to kill Naruto. Two thousand seven hundred and forty three times."
The silence returned.
"Once for every time I'd been called a monster. Isn't that hilarious?"
Sasuke swallowed.
"Before that though, I had to watch Kakashi get his throat slit and Setami get her head bashed in with a brick. This was all after of Konoha went up in flames. It's funny isn't it?"
After saying this I finally look at Sasuke. He's been staring at me this whole time, and I hated it. When our gaze meets, his eyes look lost. He's trying to figure something out... trying to figure me out.
Our little staring contest is interrupted when Kabuto and Orochimaru come into the room.
"How's she doing Sasuke," Kabuto asks.
Sasuke turns to answer, "She's back to consciousness. Her body seems to be healed."
"Aw that is just too bad," Kabuto responds and carries over an array of different blades. "Guess we're back to more physical methods of fun."
Sasuke seems to get angry as Kabuto walks over, but doesn't say anything. He just gets up and walks over to the snake like man watching me from a distance.
"Back to the basics?" I ask Kabuto with a smirk on my face. I was terrified, but I would never let him know that.
Orochimaru pulls on Sasuke's arm. "Your job is done here Sasuke, now we let Kabuto have his fun." The pair exit the room and I know this won't be fun.
Kabuto's cold hands grab my face and he studies me for a second. His classic smirk blooms on his face and he picks up a small knife. The blade looks like it has something dripping from it, maybe a poison.
"Your complexion is so fair, Madevila. It will be so beautiful to see the contrast between your pale skin and bright red blood."
"So you're a psychopath?"
"Huh, maybe. I've been called worse."
"Oh I'm sure you have."
Kabuto holds the blade to my cheek and presses in. I wince as the cool metal cuts into my cheek. He reopens the scar I got all that time ago, and I now know I'll never be rid of that memory.
"Now, let me play around some more," Kabuto says with a wicked smile. He's kneeling next to me and he removes his jacket. He picks up a different knife and cuts lightly across my neck. I can feel the blood trickle down my chest and into my bra. Kabuto's eyes widen at the sight and he carves into my stomach.
