Foul Love (Sasuke x OC)

After a shower and a change of clothes, Sasuke and I head towards the party. I've decided to wear grey sweatpants and a cropped red tank top that he disapproved of, and he wore grey sweats and a black tee shirt.

We walk to the Forest of Death, but not silently.

"Do we really have to do this? I know something else you'd like much better..." Sasuke murmurs in my ear as we walk. His comment makes me smirk, and he starts to nibble on my ear.

I sigh, "I need to make a good impression on everyone again. Plus, what kind of jerk doesn't show up to a birthday party that's for them?"

Sasuke begins to walk alongside me again and wraps his arm around my waist, pulling us close together. "Apparently Naruto considering he's leaving his party early," he points out.

To this I roll my eyes. Knowing Naruto and Hinata, they're probably too busy taking care of other people to make time for their relationship. "Sasuke, you know that Naruto just wants to take his girlfriend out on a date."

"Oh yeah? And what if I want to take out mine?"

"And who may that be?"

"What do you mean?"

The two of us stop, and I walk ahead to face the Uchiha. "Well I mean you say you have a girlfriend, and I haven't been asked yet, so who would that be?"

Sasuke looks puzzled, but then a smirk forms across his face. "I was going to wait until later to ask you this," he grabs my wrist with one hand and reaches into his pocket with the other. "Madevila Uzumaki," he starts to open the box, revealing a shining bracelet adorned with multiple rubies. "Will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend."

"I don't know..." I tease with a smirk. "There's this really cool guy I'm seeing, and he's a pretty big deal."

Sasuke plays along with my taunts, "Oh really? Do I know this 'really cool guy'?"

"Well, he wasn't always cool. He used to be a real asshole, but I remember I was too and it makes it a little better. Probably the second or third most powerful ninja in the Leaf, second to only Naruto and I."

"Really? I bet he could take Naruto any day."

"Maybe, but I think that would end with him in a coma."

Sasuke snickers but then pulls me close to him and dips me into a kiss. "So, do you have an answer to my question?" he asks, with our faces only a mere inch apart.

"I guess I will," I playfully tell him and our lips meet in a tender, compassionate way. Unlike many of the other kisses we've shared today.

Upon arrival, we see a path is lit up with different lanterns and loud music can be heard from inside the forest. Different people enter down the path, and I don't recognize most of them. I take Sasuke's hand in my own as the two of us enter the woods.

"Isn't this funny?" Sasuke asks me as we approach the party.

I stop for a second and turn to him. "What are you talking about?"

"Well, this is the same place you and I almost died. About seven years ago, but it seems like just yesterday."

My eyes wander around the forest for a second and then back to my boyfriend. "It really does... Do you remember what else this place signifies?"

"What would that be?"

"This is the first place you kissed me."

A small, but noticeable, smile grazes Sasuke's lips. He looks around to make sure no one is looking at us before leaning in to connect our lips. "Look at how far we've come."
