Foul Love (Sasuke x OC)

All I wanted to see was if Asuma and Kurenai were out on a date. Now, I'm hiding in a bush trying desperately not to be seen by the two ninja in black robes with red clouds.

Tenten and I were at Ichiraku's for lunch and then we said goodbye. Kakashi and Setami Sensei were sitting with Asuma and Kurenai, so I assumed they were on a double date. Kurenai and Asuma both got up and I decided to follow them, but what a grave mistake that was.

The two mysterious ninja stand on the water across from the two familiar ones. The tall one had a giant sword, and a blue hand. I read about him somewhere, and I knew he was one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist. Which one was he though? The shorter one's face was mostly covered by the hat he was wearing. All I could see were his purple fingernails.

"We're not here for a battle," says the smaller of the two ninja. "Just hand over what we're looking for and we'll be out of your way."

The blue man then spoke up, "You do know who we're looking for, right? There's three in this village and we'd prefer to take them sooner than later."

Kakashi then appeared in front of Kurenai and Asuma. "Itachi," he spoke. Itachi? As in Itachi Uchiha?

"It's real bold of you to show your face in the village after what you did," Asuma says.

So it's true. Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke's older brother, the one who murdered his entire clan, he's back, and looking for someone in the village.

"Are you here for Sasuke? Come to finish off your clan indefinitely?" Kakashi says.

"No, Sasuke is not my target," Itachi says in a cool tone.

Kakashi lifted up his headband to reveal his Sharingan. This definitely cannot be good.

"So it's true, you're here for the jinjuriki" Kakashi says. Oh no, Naruto and Setami Sensei... They're here for them. Wait- they're here for me too... That's when it hit me, I am in the worst place I could be right now, but there's no way for me to get out of it. Naruto is with Jiraiya and Setami Sensei better not show up.

The large ninja pulls out his sword, but is stopped by Itachi. "Kisame, your methods of fighting are too flashy. Let me handle this one."

Of course. The readings I've done come back, Kisame Hoshigake, a rogue ninja of the hidden mist. His sword is called sharkskin, and cuts through chakra and eats it. A dangerous weapon indeed.

Itachi finally lifts his head up to reveal his face. He looked just like an older Sasuke, and I must admit he was rather attractive. His eyes, their Sharingan are activated.

"Don't look in his eyes!" Kakashi yells, and they all look down. "Don't look until I say you can."

Kakashi and Itachi start to battle, but they both freeze for a second before Kakashi falls to the ground.

"What's happening Kakashi?" asked Asuma.

Kurenai jumped in, "Can we open our eyes?"

"No!" Kakashi exclaimed, it sounded like he was in a lot of pain.

Kisame started to laugh, "What did you do to him Itachi?" Itachi doesn't respond. "You risked overusing your eyes."

A flash of green comes in and kicks Kisame in the face. Gai stands in front of Asuma and Kurenai, making sure to keep his eyes down. "There is a trick to fight someone without looking at their eyes. I've practiced for years to beat Kakashi, you have to watch their moves by their feet."

Gai and Itachi start to fight, but stop once Itachi and Kisame say they need to go. Gai knows he shouldn't chase them and rushes over to a now passed out Kakashi and rushes to the hospital. I run besides him and tell him exactly what had happened.

"Go get Setami and meet us in the hospital," Gai ordered me. I nod and head toward's Kakashi and Setami's house.

Once there I call for Setami, and she comes out. "What happened Madi?"

"It's Kakashi, we need to get to the hospital now."

Her eyes go wide and she follows me to the hospital. We finally arrive in Kakashi's room where Gai is watching over Kakashi's unconscious body. Setami runs over and kneels on the side of his bed, and I can do nothing to comfort her. Sasuke comes running in, he must've followed Setami and I.

Sasuke walks up to me and stares at Kakashi's limp body. He's in a coma, and the nurses can do nothing for him. Suddenly, someone comes rushing into the room. "Is it true Itachi is back in the village! And on the hunt for the jinjuriki?!"

Everyone's eyes go wide and look at Sasuke. The man shys away after realizing what he's done. Sasuke clenches his fist and is obviously very angry, "Where's Naruto?"

"He's safe with Jiraiya, they went on the hunt for a new Hokage," Gai informs him and I slap my palm to my forehead.

"Where? Where would he be now?" Sasuke asks while seething in anger.

"Well, knowing Master Jiraiya I'd say that they stopped at a hot spring alone the way in some small village,"

Sasuke runs out of the room and I know he is heading right to find Naruto. It would be pointless for me to try to stop him, so I let him leave and head over to Setami. Gai leaves the room with a sweat drop when I glare at him.

I take a knee next to a sobbing Setami. Placing my hand on her back, I rub it to try to comfort her. "He'll be find Setami Sensei. I'm not going to tell you not to worry because that would be pointless, but it will be okay. He's Kakashi Hatake, and he'll be just fine as long as he has you to wake up to." With this being said, Setami smiles at me through tearful eyes. I exit the room to give her some alone time with him, and sit on a bench in the hallway.

Sasuke has probably left the village by now to find Naruto, and I know he is hoping to run into Itachi. There is no way Sasuke is any match for Itachi, but Master Perv will be there to protect them. And for some reason I have faith.

Thoughts fill my head as I walk back to my house. What if Itachi and Kisame find Naruto? Would Jiraiya be any sort of match for the two? All I can do now is try to relax. Changing into sweatpants and a tank top, I put on one of Naruto's jackets and try to comfort myself. I lay myself out on my bed and think of Naruto. He must be stronger now, and I have to put my faith in him and Jiraiya.

Tears start to fall down my face, but I remain silent. I stare at the blank ceiling. God, I hate ceilings. It seems like they're always there when I cry. Thoughts of my parents come to me, but why? I really wish I knew who they were, what they looked like, maybe even their favorite foods. The unknowing makes everything so hard, and I just wish they could see me now. All I've ever wanted to do is make them proud, but how could I? All I do is put people in danger, people that love me and care for me. Bad things happen to all the people I love, that's why I try to avoid everyone, but people have just made their way into my heart. I wouldn't trade them for the world. I have so many people who care about me, it's not right. Nothing I've ever done warrants me the right to have friends. Honestly, I don't deserve any of it... Not the friends, not the family, not the memories, not the house, not the food, not the mentors, not the missions, I don't deserve them!

"I hate you..." I whisper alone in my room. The comment was made out loud, but I was only talking to myself. Sasuke then appears in my mind. He told me I'm strong, and caring. He even told me that I was beautiful. Did he really mean that? Sasuke's words keep me grounded, and sometimes I think I could believe them...
