Foul Love (Sasuke x OC)

"Do you want me to kill her?"

My eyes wake to a bright room. I'm not in my normal clothes, but in a gown. Next to me is a bed, and I see Sasuke in it, staring at me with worry in his expression. As my conscious slowly comes back to me, I feel a hand on my throat and a kunai to my neck.

The earlier voice sounds familiar and I realize it was Kabuto's. He and Kakashi are staring at each other.

"What is-" I start to say weakly.

The kunai presses further into my neck and I feel a warmth start to trickle down. "Don't speak Madevila," Kabuto says from next to me.

"Let her go,"demands Sasuke, but Kabuto just starts to dig deeper into my neck.

"My orders were to bring you down Madevila, so I could take you from the hospital. Never would I have imagined you actually beating me," Kabuto says, speaking directly towards me.

"Just another one of Orochimaru's puppets then?" I ask him.

He scoffs, "Maybe the sound ninja are, but I am not. I am something so much more."

I roll my eyes at this comment, and his hand wraps around my neck tighter. It's getting harder to breath and my breaths start to turn into gasps.

Kakashi quickly moves to right besides Kabuto, and takes me out of his hands. The kunai that Kabuto was holding slices my cheek. Kakashi is now holding Kabuto when someone slips out the window, and Kakashi goes over to look. The real Kabuto was now getting away and the fake one falls on his face.

I'm still gasping for air when someone runs over to me. "Madi," is all Sasuke says and he wraps himself around me, just until he's sure no one else is coming.

"He used medical ninjutsu to heal himself, but he did it so quickly." I try to say but it comes out quiet.

"Madi, he's an extremely powerful opponent. The fact that his order was to win and hospitalize you and you still won shows your growth as a Shinobi. I am so proud," says Kakashi.

"You're... proud?"

Kakashi kneels down to look in my eyes, and smiles at me, "More than you know. You've grown so much."

"But I failed! Kabuto got away and I'm stuck in the-"

Suddenly I'm engulfed in a warm hug. Is Kakashi hugging me? No, I can still see his face. This must be Sasuke. Once I know I'm right I nuzzle my head in his shoulder. I feel safe now.

"Sasuke, we must get going. You're facing Gaara, and we have much training to do," Kakashi says to him.

I pull away from him and look at Kakashi with wide eyes, "Gaara is a jinjuriki."

Kakashi's eyes widen, "How do you know?"

"It's hard to explain, but I'm sure of it. He is the jinjuriki of the beast that resides in the sand. The one tailed they call Shukaku. I got a heads up from Kurama and decided to look into it. Yesterday I had an encounter with Gaara and he confirmed it."

Sasuke turns me to face him and started to talk, "Who is Kurama?"

"Kurama is the name of the nine tailed fox that resides inside of me. He and I have been talking a lot now. He's been extremely helpful."

"Is that safe?" Sasuke asks, obviously concerned.

"Maybe," is all I tell him as I shrug my shoulders.

Kakashi now joins in the conversation. "There is much we don't know about the situation, but there's nothing we can do right now. All Madi has to do is make the decision that she thinks is best. Let's trust her judgement."
