Sasuke and I leave his house. For breakfast I had an apple and he had an orange. I got dressed into my normal ninja attire that he somehow managed to get the blood out of. My mind is still spinning as I try to remember what happened last night. I want to ask Sasuke what happened and how much he saw, but we're already late.

Naruto and Sakura are standing on the bridge, looking at us dumbfounded when they see Sasuke and I walk over to them together.

"HUH?" they both shout out in unison.

"Madi! What happened to you?"

I look at him, and lie straight to his face. "Maybe I need a little bit more work on my defense."

Naruto looks at the cut on my cheek, "Did Sasuke do this?"

Sasuke speaks up before I got the chance to, "Yes, but it wasn't exactly intentional. She asked for my help for defensive work, so I threw shuriken and kunai at her."

The whiskers on the blonde boy's face start to move. He goes to say something, so I stand in between the two boys.

"Getting hurt is just a part of training." I interject. "Next time I won't be so sloppy."

Naruto backs down and looks at me. His bright blue eyes look at me, almost sad. "Why didn't you ask me to help you train?"

My voice is still monotone, "I knew I could never get you out of bed that early."

He laughs at my remark. "Naruto... I wasn't kidding."

"Oh hehe..." He nervously scratches the back of his head. Suddenly he picks me up and places me on his shoulders.

"What are you doing Naruto?" I say and give him a blank expression, that he obviously can't see.

He starts to go to the training ground and everyone else follows us. "I'm just giving my little sister a shoulder ride!"

My face remains expressionless, "Naruto, we both know I'm older than you."

He keeps running and jumping around. "That's the thing Madi! We don't actually know that!"

"I just have a feeling."

The wind is blowing through my hair, and I'm actually starting to enjoy myself when suddenly Naruto stops. We both look forward at the wreckage of a tree. A jagged stump sticks out from the ground, and hundreds of wood smithereens are scattered across the training grounds.

My eyes go wide, remembering some of last nights events. So that's what happened to my hand? I blew a tree to little bits after punching it with my raw fist a few times? I cringe at the memory and Naruto loses balance of me. I feel myself falling before I'm caught by Sasuke. He just holds me for a second, but I don't even look at him. My eyes are still locked on the wreckage I caused. Large pieces of wood are sticking out of the ground and the sides of trees. How did I do this?

"Put her down Sasuke!" Naruto yells. I'm snapped out of my thoughts once more to the sound of the boys bickering.

Sasuke still holds me in his arms, "If you didn't drop her, I wouldn't of had to catch her."

"Will both of you please stop yelling?" I ask, even though it's more of a command. They both stare at each other but I ignore them completely. Suddenly I find myself at the stump of the tree. My eyes wander to see the wood sticking out from everywhere. I could have killed Sasuke...

I go to examine the stump. There're burn marks, lining the outside and sharp pieces still sticking out. What happened?

A hand grabs my shoulder and I expect it to be Naruto's, but it's Kakashi Sensei's. "Madi, I need to talk to you after training today."
