Foul Love (Sasuke x OC)

All of us surround the small table in the hotel room. Gai had made us all breakfast and we're eating it before heading off to complete the mission. A head from the sound village's government is supposed to meet with Gai this morning, while we're supposed to explore the village and see if there's anything distrusting.

We all finish our meal and we still have time before Gai's meeting.

"Team bonding exercise everyone!" Gai shouts, his voice booming.

Neji, Tenten, and I all give Gai a half eyed look while Lee cheers with his Sensei. He must really look up to him.

"Alright everyone. A topic will be given and you have to say your favorite thing from that topic. Proud to say I came up with this game by myself," Gai says with a proud grin.

"Only you could come up with something as amazing as that Sensei!" Lee hollers. It is way too early in the morning for this sort of torture.

"Isn't this just a simple get-to-know you game?" I say, bursting Gai's bubble. Neji and Tenten hum in agreement.

"You're no fun Madi," Gai says with sorrow.

I shrug my shoulders in agreement. I've had about enough of get to know games so I excused myself and headed into the village. Neji and Tenten decided to join me leaving Lee and Gai to play their game on their own.

Inside the village was rather odd... everything seemed off. No one was managing the stores and all the houses seemed vacant. It didn't even seem real. The three of us had been walking around for a while without the sight of anyone until we stumbled upon a sweets shop.

"I'm gonna head into the shop," I tell them both. "Don't wait up, just stay safe."

Neji knew exactly what I was trying to do and shot a glare at me. I ignored this and headed into the shop. An old woman greeted me at the door and pointed at the array of colorful candy, telling me I get two free bags of something. Her cheerfulness seemed insincere which threw me off guard a bit.

My mind wanders to Naruto. He would love this place, I wonder how he's doing. Does Sasuke like candy?

Wait, why am I thinking about Sasuke right now? I said I wouldn't miss him and I don't. God he's so annoying. Would he like black licorice?

"Are you troubled about something?" The old lady says with her hand on my shoulder. So creepy...

"Nothing," I tell her while stepping out of her grasps. "Can I get a bag of black licorice and a bag of apple poppers?"

"Of course dear," the lady says. There's something off about the way she talks, it's almost reptilian.

"Get out of there now."

What?

"Something is wrong."

What are you talking about?

"That lady... Something is definitely off."

I know that much, she's just creepy.

She hands me the bags and gives me a smile. I could have sworn I saw a snake like tongue. Trying my best not to show my hurry, I rush out of the store and down the street. Only once I think I'm clear do I sit on a bench. A sigh escapes me and my eyes gaze over the streets. Why haven't I seen anyone besides the person from last night?

"We need to get out of this place."

Why?

"That 'old lady' had an insane amount of malicious chakra."
