Red's Perspective
We finally got through the mountain and in front us is the walls of the capital.... It's huge!! I think it's around three hundred meters tall.....
"You! State your business!"
The soldiers near the gate confronted us.... Well that is given... When you saw a guy with pure red hair and pupils, a beast girl holding a pure black puppy, and a maid who is walking towards a city then surely you'll have to confront them...... I just noticed but the three of us really sticks out.....
"B-beast kin?! Don't move! Stay there or we'll fire!"
They saw Gumi and when I scanned the surroundings and I saw bow and arrows pointed towards her....
"G-guhh!!! Don't move or we'll really shoot!!"
The soldiers stumbled... Why?? It's because I released some of my magic power but I didn't know that they will get scared like that.....
"Master let me handle this...."
Anna and Gumi held my hand..... I suppressed my magic again then Anna walks towards the soldier while holding some kind of pendant.....
"I am Anna the fifth from the house of Paimon!! These two are honored guests!! Lower your weapons and let us through!!"
"L-Lady Anna i-is that really you??"
"Of course I am.... Is there any person who has this face and this pendant?? Now if you may, return to your posts and let us through...."
"But to let a beast kin in......"
"I told you they are honored guests!! Or do you want me to open the gate myself while trampling you in the process?!"
"Y-YES! Um NO! Umm OPEN THE GATE!!"
The soldier fell down on the ground with Anna's intimidation... He doesn't know what to answer to Anna so he just told the other guys to open the gate.....
"Big sister is scary......"
"Arf!"
Gumi muttered while hiding at my back and it seems like Milo agrees with her...... I nodded....
"Yep.... Let's make sure not to anger her......"
She really is scary..... You have a problem with your head if you saw a girl blatantly say she'll trample the people and find it not scary......
"Master let us go......"
Then she returns here with a huge smile on her face...... Yep what a scary one.......
"You should have done that the moment we arrived at the gate....."
I told Anna while walking towards the gate....
"But I thought they recognized my face....."
I think what you wear is the reason why they didn't recognize you.... But of course I can't say that....
When we finally entered the capital both Gumi and I have our jaw dropped....... I think Gumi is just surprised on the scale of the buildings here but in my case there's another reason why I have my jaw dropped... That is because I already saw this kind of infrastructures in the past..... Yep when I said the past it's from the days at earth...... Though I only saw this buildings on games, books, and movies. I won't make a mistake here..... These are traditional Japanese style buildings!!
I'm amazed on what I saw, I feel like I'm in Japan but in the past...... However there's something odd about this place.......
