Aylin
"Do you not even drink in celebration?" Noyan asked me once we had entered his tent. "No I do not. When I said to you I can't drink it, I meant it is because I am allergic to grapes. They make my face swell up and I often lose my voice too, so I would be unfit for work" I told him and Ulubilge. Both looked shocked at what I had said probably because they have never heard of someone allergic to grapes before. I mean, I haven't either but it's the only excuse I can make so he doesn't try and force me to drink his wine. "Very well then Borjigin, if that is your wish, I accept it!" Noyan exclaimed before taking a large sip of his wine.
"Bayçu Noyan!" A soldier shouted from outside the tent. "What is it?" Noyan shouted back. "There is word from the great Ögedei Khan" he replied. "Enter then, and tell us what he says!" Noyan commanded. The soldiers entered and handed Noyan a letter. He read over it quickly, eager to know what his leader wanted. He frowned a little at a few points but then carried on. "Ögedei khan wants me to visit him in Mongolia, our home, so we can talk about how to finally take down Sultan Aladdin. He wants me to bring someone with me" Noyan said rather dramatically. "Who? Who does our great khan ask you to take?" Ulubilge asks. "Borjigin" Noyan replied simply.
"Me?" Aylin asked confused. "Oh...alright then, when do we leave, Noyan?" She asked hesitantly. "At dawn" Noyan responded. Aylin nodded then headed back to her tent. She wrote a brief, encrypted message to ertugrul and sent it on its way with a pigeon. Then she sat in her tent pacing around anxiously thinking of the day ahead.
A/N: Aylin has been asked to attend a meeting with Noyan and Ögedei khan. She has claimed to do jobs for Ögedei in the past whilst really helping the Kayis. Will that topic be mentioned and could Aylin get exposed? New chapter coming soon....
