Ps. This chapter is like, I dunno week later. AND A FILLER.

I open my eyes and see the sun. It takes me few seconds before I realise that it is the sun. The one and only sun. I sit up from the ground and look around the campfire. Everyone else is still asleep. I stand up and grab a bottle of water. This is going to be a loooong day.

"Where are you going?" I turn around and face Newt. He is sitting on the ground, covering his eyes with his hands. I think he is as amazed by the sun as I am - the sun we thought we saw in the glade wasn't real. But this is. This is THE sun.

"I'm going for a walk... Would you, um... I don't know, wanna join me?" He nods his head as a yes and stands up. I fake a smile and start to walk towards... Something.

"I can't believe we are here... Do you, um... Recognize anything?" he asks and looks around the landscape. Wow, being alone with Newt really is awkward.

"Yes, I've been here many times before. I remember how I ran and played hide and see with Gally. We spoke about it yesterday."

"That's um... Lovely." Liar, I think.

"I'm sorry that you can't remember." I mutter and look away from his eyes. Gosh, being alone with him is just so weird. After all we've been through... The glade and the maze, Mark, One, Thomas, my mom... And here we are; Broken, alone and in pieces.

I broke him. I broke my Newt, my wonderful Newt, I made him angry, lost and bitter. Just because I was able. This is all my fault.

"Don't be." he says. "I... I think I like it this way, you know. I remember all the good things. You, my sister, our first kiss... After everything happened to you and Gally....-"

"DON'T!" I scream and stop walking. "Do not talk about it, okay? Do NOT mention his name, do NOT mention tomorrow or that night, just DON'T, okay?"

He nods and tries to smile. "I'm sorry, I got lost. I didn't mean to..."

"I know. I just want to be normal for a day. For one shucking day. Forget all the drama, all the klunk that happened for us... I don't wanna be that mysterious girl from WICKED. Or that fucked-up child who hears voices... I also don't want to be a whore..."

"You are not a whore...." He says and tries to keep on talking but I hush him.

"Shut it, Newt, The Queen -a.k.a me- is talking. I am a whore. You can't deny the fact, that's what I am. I deserve my reputation. I fucked you, I fucked Mark, I even let One fuck Thomas!" I cover eyes from the sun again. It's just so... bright. It's like a promise. If we can see the sun, the real sun, we can find the Cure and save all those people...

"That's not on you, okay?" He says and drinks some water. "That was One. Not you, okay?"

"Whatever....I just... This is all so much."

"I know... You know, if I could I would take your place. I would feel the pain you feel, all the pressure, every bad moment you've ever had..."

"Newt, no need to do that." I say and smile. "We are not together. You don't need to try to save me, okay? I can do this... I have to do this. Everything is just happening so... quickly."
