"How did you two manage to get two weeks off to go to Ireland in the first place?" Jesse asked she sat opposite of Rebecca in the booth at Gretta's
"He owns the company" Rebecca stated "and I can't tell my mother I'm pregnant over a phone call.. without her ever meeting Colby" she shook her head
"What?!" Emma yelled, "you're pregnant?!"
"Surprise.." Rebecca smiled
"Are you insane?!" Jesse screamed
"What?" Rebecca asked
"You and Colby have only been together officially for three months.. and you're pregnant"
"I was pregnant before and we weren't together then"
"Yes but you were just gonna hand the kid over and move on with your life" Emma shook her head "You're talking about having a baby with him that you're gonna raise.. you two are stuck together now forever"
"We're gonna get married" Rebecca admitted
"When did he propose?!" Jesse yelled
"He hasn't yet" the redhead admitted
"Then you don't know you're going to get married, you're just hoping," Emma said "What are you going to do if he doesn't propose and you guys break up?"
"We still have a child together so we'll co-parent to the best of our abilities"
"Yeah that's gonna work out real well" Emma nodded
Rebecca walked into the house and sat her purse on the kitchen counter before letting out a scream that if they had neighbors would have been sure to frighten them.
"Whoa!" She heard Colby's voice and his fast footsteps coming down the stairs "Hey.." He grabbed her "Are you okay? What happened?" He asked as ran her hands through her hair frantically
"The so-called best friends in the world aren't so friendly anymore" she shook her head with a laugh "Everyone that I've known in this town has turned their back on me or pushed me away since we've gotten together"
"If anybody wants to push you away that is their loss.. they're stupid to let you out of their lives" he shook his head
"Are you gonna marry me?" She asked and his eyes widened "Like for real marry me?"
"Why would you ask me that?" He questioned quickly "I've told you a hundred times now. I'm going to marry you"
"You tell me that but do you mean it? Like really mean it or are you just saying it to make me happy?" She asked as tears began to fill her eyes "Because if you're just saying it.." She cried
"Hey hey hey" he wrapped his arms around her "Where is this coming from?"
"Jesse and Emma" she wiped the tears from her cheeks, "They said you saying you're going to marry me and doing it are two different things.. and they're right" she nodded "What do we do if we don't last? If we have this baby and we don't work out.."
"You need to breathe," he said and she took a deep breath "Stressing yourself out like this isn't good" he shook his head "Do you want me to go call around until I can get somebody to come to marry us right now?"
"That's not how you want it.." She shook her head and he laughed
"Baby, I don't care how or where I marry you," he shook his head "The only thing I care about is calling you my wife at the end of it" he gently placed his hand on her face to cause her to look up at him "Okay? That is all I care about.. how, when, where.. who is there.. none of that matters" he shook his head as he kissed hers
