Rebecca walked into her home that Saturday afternoon. She saw her daughter running around the many acres surrounding the house as she drove through the gates. Chase was set to be picked up by Lilly's parents by the time she got back for practice. That would be hours long before he would be spending the night with Lilly's twin brother Sam.

The redhead put her stuff on the bottom stair as she entered the front door and saw her husband sitting on the sofa as he mindlessly flipped through the stations on the television.

"Hi baby," she said as she kissed his head, and he was silent. "Are you good?" She asked, and he nodded. "Did you have any trouble with the kids this morning?" She questioned

"I got yelled at for doing the dishes," he said, not even looking at her, "the first time that has ever happened in my life."

"I'm sorry, I told you Chase did chores, but I didn't tell you which ones.."

"Not your fault," he shrugged. "You're a very busy woman," he said, and she looked at him confused. "There's no way I'd be able to keep everything straight if I was in your position."

"Okay..." she said quietly. "Did you meet Chase's baseball coach when he picked him up?"

"I did" Colby nodded. "Is he married?"

"Happily, For nine years," she moved towards the kitchen

"At least I don't have to worry about our son's coach coming onto you."

"Very funny," she laughed sarcastically.

The tension around the house was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Colby silently thanked God that his son wasn't home because he was already having difficulty getting the boy to trust and talk to him. If he had been home when his parents inevitably argued, it wouldn't make things any easier.

Sawyer spent her afternoon playing outside before her mother called her in for dinner, which the family ate almost entirely in silence.

After getting a bath, she went to bed.

Sawyer was always easy to put to bed. She would fall asleep so quickly and stay asleep through pretty much anything.

Rebecca walked into the main bedroom to see her husband sitting on the edge of the bed, fiddling with the newly placed wedding ring on his left hand.

"Are you okay?" She asked as she shut the door behind her. "You've been quiet since I got home.." She stated, and he nodded with a small smile as he continued to stare at his hands. "It's like you're keeping secrets."

"You're one to talk," he said

"What?" She questioned as she made her way to the closet to grab her sweatpants for the night

"I said you're one to talk.." He stood up from the bed as she walked into the room

He watched her remove her shirt and throw it in the clothes hamper in the closet.

"What the fuck does that mean?" She asked as she stood in front of him

"Put on a shirt," he said, tossing his shirt at her. "I'm not fighting with you while you're shirtless."

"I'm not fighting with you while You're shirtless either" she shook her head and threw the shirt back at him. "Why are we fighting anyway?" She asked, "We were fine when I left" she moved to her dresser to pull out one of her shirts

"Ask Grace's dad," he said, and she stopped moving and looked at him

"Ask Grace's Dad?" She questioned, "What does he have to do with anything?"

"You were with him today, right?" He asked

"Yes," she nodded, and he laughed. "What?" She questioned

"I thought you'd at least deny it."

"Why would I deny it?"

"Oh, I don't know!" He yelled as he threw his arms in the air, "maybe because I'm your husband! And I figured I was the only one you were having sex with!"

"Having sex with.." She shook her head. "I'm not having sex with Grace's dad" she shook her head.

"Like I'm supposed to believe that?" He laughed. "A little bird told me that you spend almost every Saturday with him, you two have been together a lot when I was gone, and another bird told my bird that she heard you two yelling behind a closed door," he listed

He watched his wife turn away from him as she ran her hands through her hair with a laugh.

"It's not funny" he shook his head.

"Your bird flew into a glass door because she thought it was open; rethink your sources before you come at me with those kinds of accusations," she said

"If you're not having sex with him, then what the fuck are you doing?"

"He's my trainer!" She yelled, and her husband stared at her. "He is a teacher during the week and runs a personal training business on the weekends. He has a gym in his house where he trains his clients, and I started going to him after you went to prison to try and get some of my fucking aggression out because I was so pissed off at you for actually putting us in the situation in the first place!" She yelled

"Baby.." He said quietly, "I-"

"No!" She held her hand up as he stepped towards her. "NO!" She exclaimed, "You thought I would cheat on you? Newsflash! Years ago, You told me to divorce you. If I wanted somebody else, I would have signed those papers!"

"Becks.." He said, and she shook her head

"You wanna talk about keeping secrets? How about the secrets you've kept since the day you got released!"

"What are you talking about?"

"You didn't think I would notice you tossing and turning every night? That I wouldn't notice you getting up multiple times a night, how you'd jolt awake next to me, and it takes you forever to calm down before you pull me into your chest and hold me so tightly I can barely breathe.." She listed, and his head fell; he wouldn't look at her. "You thought I wouldn't notice that my anxiety medication in my makeup bag was just gone? I'm onto you, I've been onto you since that first night, but I kept quiet because I was going to do whatever it took to make you comfortable" she shook her head, "but now, after I have done everything, I have raised your children, I have waited for years for you to come home."

"Baby.." He tried again

FAITHFULLY WAITED MIGHT I ADD!" She yelled over him, "I have been the best wife you could ever ask for, and you want to accuse me of cheating. Do you want to talk about somebody who cheated during this relationship? Shall I bring up Scarlett?"

"Don't" he took a step toward her.

"Why? It's true," she stepped up to him now. "You were the one who fucked her in your office and our shower once or twice, if I'm not mistaken," she stated

"Rebecca," he took another step towards her, "Don't bring her up again; you bring her up again, you take us back there to that place in our relationship.." He shook his head

"Don't you accuse me of cheating again" her forehead pushed against his "You accuse me of cheating on you ever again, you lose me for good"

She saw a switch in him; she saw the anger, the protectiveness, and the dominant side of his personality return.

"There it is.." she nodded with a smirk as she took a step back from him

"There, what is?" He questioned in an angered whisper

"That fire in your eyes.."

"You threatened to take my world from me."
