I suddenly heard people screaming and running from the narrow hallway. Bigla nalang maraming mga tao ang nagtakbuhan. Lahat sila ang isinisigaw ay ang pagsulong at ang pumatay. They sounded emotionless so I doubt it was their true desires.

"Finally you're awake." Natigilan at bahagya akong napaatras nang makarinig ng boses matapos tumahimik ang hallway. Wala na ang mga taong nagsisigawan kaya kinabahan ako sa biglang nagsalita. "The show will not start if the star wasn't prepared, you know?"

The owner of the voice stood in front of me, only to be separated by the prison bars. Based on his build he's the same guy that pulled Denzel from the fountain way back then.

I supposed he was the same age as my mother. Hindi pa siya ganoon katanda kung kaya't bakas pa ang kisig at kagwapuhan nito lalong lalo na siguro noong kabataan niya. If I would be honest he doesn't seem villainous to me, but looks can be deceiving.

"Anong kailangan mo sa'kin?!" sigaw ko sa kaniya. He looked at me with amusement.

"You really looked like Asteria." I can notice subtle changes in expression as he stared at me. Agad rin naman siyang napakunot noo na para bang may naalala. "Unlike her bastard son who looked like Amil."

Son?

"Hindi mo alam hindi ba? You had an older brother." His face darkened as if a horrible memory struck him. "I was expecting him to die a lot earlier but I didn't expect him to live. Good thing he doesn't remember anything."

What are these revelations?! Ako ba'y pinagloloko niya?! A brother? My mommy would never abandon her own son. I know her better than this guy.

"If you're trying to make a fool in me. I tell you, you can't."

"Tatanga ka pa rin kahit sa mundong ito, Eira. How can you not notice?" He laughed sarcastically mocking my words. Walang nakakatawa sa sinabi ko. Nababaliw na siya!

"Nasaan si mommy?!"

I was hoping she's out there, alive. Although impossible but I know he could provide me answers. Just descent answers from him. I would get myself out here after I hear his statements. Hindi ko alam kung papaano pero lalabas ako rito kapag nalaman ko na ang dapat kong malaman.

"Listen my litte Asteria." I almost rolled my eyes when he called me that. "Reuqolbéd."

He snapped his finger and the familiar coldness crept into my hands. I tried making something small out of my ability and it works completely fine. My ability is back! Ano na naman ang plano niyang gawin sa akin dahilan para makabalik ang ability ko?

"I want you to work with me." He said confidently as if he has a trump card hidden against me. "Let me rephrase that... You will work for me."

I sneered. "Never."

I raised my hands and blocks of ice started hitting the prison bars. Tuluyan ko itong nasira sa harapan niya mismo. To my surprise, he dodged the prison bar's shards with some sort of barrier.

I stepped out immediately not knowing horrible things will happen next.

Takbo ako ng takbo sa mahaba't makitid na pasilyo. Sa dami ng pwedeng likuan hindi ko na alam kung nagpabalik-balik na ba ako ng tinatakbuhan. Kailangan kong makita ang hagdan pataas. The floor I'm in right now are prison chambers. Dito siguro kinukulong ang mga nagmamatigas na mga tauhan ni Samael. Ayon na rin ito sa mga naririnig ko mula sa mga iilang tao na nakakulong pa rito.

Sa wakas! Nahanap ko na rin ang hagdan patungo sa itaas. Alam kong wala pa sa kalahati ang natatakbo ko sa chamber na ito pero inabot na ako ng ilang oras. The space was so huge and it would take me probably forever to check it out.
