Chapter 8

My eyes opened and all that I can see in front of me was a black creature, shorter-than-human stature, with a long and hooked nose and bat-like ears were standing in front of me and staring at me with unfocused eyes.

The weird creature had bulging blue eyes which were nearly the size of a tennis ball.
"Louis Tomlinson.....Louis Tomlinson has come to senses, He's awake." the weirdo shouted and ran outside of the room.

I tried to figure out where exactly I was. When I looked around the room I found many rows of beds with white sheets, privacy screens, and bedpans. WHY AM I IN A HOSPITAL?

"OH, Louis Tomlinson, You're finally awake." came an intense voice from my right. As I looked at the side from where the voice was coming, came into my view two tall men wearing long black cloaks, one having a long grey beard and another having no beard.

Have I seen them or someone like them before?

"Who are you?" I asked trying to hide my fear.

"Oh, myself Kendrix" informed the man with a long beard "and myself Alix." the man with no beard said.

I observed that the one who introduced himself as Kendrix had sea-blue eyes and the other man had grey eyes.

"Who is Louis Tomlinson?" I asked.

"It's you if you only knew," said Alix.

"Oh man, I think I don't belong here, I'm Louis Payne," I informed them, got out of the bed, and walked out of the room through the large door.

I had no idea where the exit door for this ancient building is. I have never seen or heard about a building like this before where people wear robes. As I walked through the horrifying structure I discovered a staircase that directs both upwards and downwards. I decided to go downstairs.

It's been more than a minute and I'm still on this aimless spiral downstairs. It's directing me nowhere. No doubt this place is immense and weird, ancient and grim. All I can see around me were ancient paintings hanging on the walls which were moving? The horse is running, the clouds are moving, the picture of men wearing a hat and robes is laughing? Where am I? Am I dreaming?

"Louis, follow me if you don't want to roam the whole day." said the man with a long beard I met a while who was standing a few steps away from me.

"I think that's a good idea. Thank you for your kind offer, Mr.Alexander."

He looked around with a confused expression.

"Alexander? Who's that?" he asked me.

"You?"

"I'm Kendrix. You are just like your father." he chuckled and instructed me to follow him.

"How do you know my dad?" I asked surprisingly while walking beside him.

"Not only me Louis, everyone here knows about him." He informed as we reached a giant wall.

As I tried to ask him how everyone knew about my dad he asked me to stay quiet and took out a long light brown stick-like structure which he held straight in his hand and gazed at the emerald green circle on the center of the dark grey wall and whispered something similar to "LLG."

A purple light arose from the top of the stick which covered the whole wall and as soon as the light disappeared the wall vanished and came into view a different castle some distance from us and more specifically a new world.

"Welcome to your world, Louis." He announced.

"Why is this land floating?" I screamed.

When we stepped out of that building it evaporated and behind us appeared a dense forest. I was petrified.
