Chapter 17

Adeline continued sobbing.

"I don't know who is that 'HE' as already mentioned. Neither do I know nor anybody else in this world." She started explaining to Louis and Liam.

Liam and Louis were perplexed with her statement.

"No one knows? How's that possible?" Blurted Liam.

"Exactly! Someone took your whole damn family and you know nothing about that creature?" Spectaculated Louis.

"No louis, see, we have no idea who is it? From where did it come? And why is it destroying everyone's family. We haven't seen it before." Explained Adeline.

"Huhh?" Exclaimed Louis. "Then why do you guys address it as 'HE' ?" He added.

In addition to the tears falling down through her eyes, Adeline was breathing fast.

"It's, it's army addressed him as 'HE'." She said.

"Army?" Liam questioned.

After Adeline finished speaking, Louis walked to the kitchen.

Although it is said that the kitchen bring families together but it was the loneliest place of this house. The kitchen of this house was nothing like a modern kitchen but was not much older too. The structure was alike that of a normal kitchen has these days but the material used to construct them were woods.

So,the kitchen had dark brown cabinets with two double doors.To the left, below the cabinet doors was the sink. There were dirty dishes in the sink which seemed like they were just begging to be washed. The impotent sink was surrounded by a forlorn stove to the left and an isolated dish rack to the right.

Louis looked around the reclusive kitchen for a glass.

"Where the Fook is a glass in this kitchen?" Louis hissed.

As soon as those words spilled out of the Louis's mouth, the two doors of the cabinet opposite to which Louis was standing opened on it's own.

Louis noticed the opening of the cabinet doors. He came closer to the cabinet and bent down to see if he could find a glass inside it. The detached part was filled with dishes, cups and bowls on one side and spices along with many other types of box which Louis had never seen before on the other side.

He scanned the side of dishes to find a glass but he couldn't.

"Where is the glass in here?" He whispered annoyingly.

A glass from the behind making it's way through all the other dishes came in front just like a person standing in the behind makes it way through people to appear in the front when their name is been called.

Louis's beautiful sea-green eyes got wider after the glass appeared on it's own.

"Cool, the people might be so lazy here." Louis murmured and took the glass in his hand.

Louis thought the doors would close on it's own so he decided to look from where he could fill the glass his hands with water.

As Louis was looking around, liam entered the kitchen.

"What are you doing here?" Questioned liam.

Louis turned around and said "Oh, I wanted a glass of water but I couldn't find a water purifier here."

"Water purifier? What's that?" Louis and Liam heard a high pitched voice from their left.

They both looked to the side of the sink to find out who it was.

To their amazement, a creature who was weird to liam but familiar to Louis was standing outside the window. A small creature whose body skin was peach in color with two big blue eyes and large bat like ears was standing outside the window located above the sink and gazing at them.
