Chapter 23

"This is the book of  "Magical Herbs and Potions"  and it carries detail about all the kinds of herbs discovered till date and also it includes the steps for making a potion." The professor explained.

"I hope you all are aware about the term Herbs and Potions?" Professor Jesse inquired.

"We used to go to School on the earth." Louis instantly replied.

"Congratulations Mr. Tomlinson." She faked a smile sarcastally.

Adeline grinned.

"I've brought the herbs about which we are going to study today." She informed her students and took out a small brown bag from her bag.

"Open your book." She instructed and following her instructions all the three students opened the book and kept it on a long, wide table placed in front of them.

Professor Jesse who was standing opposite to them that is on the other side of the table opened the brown bag and took out a herb from it.

"This is Bassil." Professor Jesse raised the herb in air in front of her students." This is good for luck, confidence, warding and prosperity."

As Professor Jesse was explaining her students, Louis couldn't resist the terrible smell of the herb and spoke " Bassils aren't supposed to smell this bad." His face was now narrowed in disgust.

"If you don't like the smell Mr.Tomlinson then you can put your hand on your nose."

Liam and Adeline immediately did that.

"I'll puke anytime now."Louis tried to whispher but accidentally he said it out loud.

"I didn't expect you to be like this Mr.Tomlinson." Professor Jesse hissed.

"And I didn't expect the herb to smell so awful teacher Jesse." Louis reverted.

"Professor." She corrected him.

"Professor, can we please continue?" Liam requested.

"Heed what I'm teaching Mr. Tomlinson." She said to Louis.

Louis somehow tried to concentrate because in order to reach his parents, he's required to have knowledge of everything the professor is teaching to him.

"Lastly, Bay Laurel. This herb is great to write intentions on the leaf and burn or store. This plant crackles when burnt and is great for promoting visions put in under your pillow for prophetic dreams." She explained.

"Also, it's fragrance is awesome." She looked at Louis and said.

"All the herbs about which I taught today are categorized under common herbs."

Louis rolled his eyes whereas Liam and Adeline couldn't help laughing but somehow they managed not to laugh out loud.

"So, the lesson for today is done, right?" Louis asked his Professor to which she didn't reply but watched her watch on the wrist.

"We can complete atmost two more potions in the time we're left with." She said thoughtfully.

"Turn to page number twelve." All the three students followed their Professor's instruction and turned to page number twelve.

"You can see the heading Positivity Potion. For the preparation of this potion which radiates positivity and happiness we would need to put crystals, basil, pink salt-"

"Pink Salt?" Louis cut Professor's word to which she gave a furious look to him.

"Continue. I was just curious." Louis stammered.
