Chapter 27

A tall, muscular wizard was standing in front of Louis. His white face which was mostly covered with dust was not as much as horrifying as his bloodshot eyes which were continuously staring at Louis but on reading it deeply Louis figured out that his eyes were shouting pain.

"Yeah?" Louis tried to know the reason the stranger was here.

He didn't utter anything but started giving gestures. He opened his mouth and started pointing inside it.

"What?" Louis was confused by the activity of the stranger at his door.

"Who's it?" Marcella asked while walking to the door.

"Don't know." Looking back at her, Louis replied.

The stranger's black eyes fell on Marcella. He started giving same signals to her hoping that she would understand him.

"Are you dumb?" Louis asked him.

The stranger was wearing a black cloak which was of same color as his hair.He looked down and kept quiet for a few seconds. Suddenly, he raised his head up to Louis and Adeline and tried to speak "wa-water".

Louis raised his eyebrows and said "Oh. Why didn't you tell earlier?"

"I think he needs water to drink. I'm bringing." Marcella went back to the living room to take a glass of water along with the jar filled with water for the stranger.

Louis's eyes moved up and down through the strangers body.

"What's your name?" Louis asked to the stranger who was waiting for Marcella to bring water to him.

"I don't know." The stranger had a very deep voice.

Louis's eyes narrowed. "This world is totally a sum up of weird people." He muttered to himself.

"Huh?" Marcella handed the glass of water to the stranger.

"Did you hear that?" Louis asked while the stranger was drinking the water while Marcella with a jug full of water was starting at him.

"Well, yeah and why do you think so?" Marcella raised her eyebrows.

"This dude doesn't even know his name. What do you expect me to say?" Louis pointed out to the stranger who was standing in front of Marcella with an empty glass of water glaring at the jug filled with water in Marcella's hand. She observed and understood that he wanted more water. So, she refilled the water in his glass.

"See, he can't even speak that he needs more water." Louis looked at the stranger and told Marcella .

"Are you complaining about him or about the one who created him?" Marcella without looking at Louis said.

Louis stopped speaking on hearing to the words of Marcella and couldn't think of speaking anything further.

"Ohh they are here." Marcella cheerfully gazed in the direction from where her sister and Liam were coming.

Louis followed Marcella's gaze and saw Liam carrying all the bags filled with green vegetables while Adeline carrying only a single bag. They both were laughing but as soon as their eyes fell on the stranger standing on the door of the house an expression of confusion and tension crossed their face. Their laughter faded away and they quickened their pace to the house.

"Who's this?" Liam asked looking up to down at wizard who was around quite taller than Liam.

"We don't know." Louis looked at Liam and replied.

"What?" Adeline's eyes narrowed at Louis's answer.

"He wanted to drink water so he knocked at the door." Marcella explained to Adeline and Liam, quickly raising the jar of water in her hand.
