Adeline ran to the girl and sat beside her instantly.
"Marcella, open your eyes." Her voice was now stammering. "What happened to her?" She looked up at Louis.
"I don't know she's froze. I've asked liam to br-"
"Liam." Adeline cutts off Louis's words and looked all around quickly."Liam, where is he? LIAM." She yelled.
"Yeah, coming." Liam replied from the store room.
"I'll bring a blanket from my room." Louis faltered.
Adeline didn't reply and was constantly shaking Marcella to wake her up.She noticed a glass of water kept on the table placed beside her. Immediately she took the glass and started sprinkling water on the girl laying but unfortunately it didn't make any difference in the girl's condition.
"Why aren't you waking up?" Adeline howled.
Louis strode towards the sofa with a black blanket in his hand and on reaching to the sofa he quickly covered the girl with the blanket.
He looked down at Adeline whose tears weren't stopping.
"Are you okay?" Louis sat down beside Adeline but there was no response to his question.
Louis placed his right hand on the right shoulder of the Adeline and asked again "Are you okay, Adeline?"
"My, my sister." She looked at Louis and with cracked voice continued "Why is she not responding?" Her eyes were still on Louis but her fingers were pointing to Marcella. "Why isn't she talking to me, Louis?" She started sobbing.
"Sorry for being lat-" Liam stopped walking and speaking as well as soon as he saw Louis and Adeline sitting on the floor and Adeline crying.
Louis glanced at Liam and pointed out at the pieces of glasses on the ground so that he couldn't be hurt by them.
Liam strolled beside those pieces of glasses and fastened his pace to reach his brother and Adeline.
"What's wrong?" He immediately questioned.
"Liam." Adeline glanced at Liam. "She's not waking up. He-Heater."
"Yeah, it's here." He raised his hand to let her notice the heater he was holding.
"Then install it." Louis growled.
"Yeah." Liam replied and quickly installed the heater so that Marcella could be warmed.
"What's wrong?" Liam sat beside Louis and whispered.
"The girl turned out to be her sister." Louis whispered back to his brother.
"Sister?" Liam asked with a low voice.
"Yeah, Marcella." Louis informed.
"Oh my god." Liam gazed at both of the sisters with pitiful eyes.
"Why ain't she waking up?" Adeline who was continously crying started sobbing.
"She will come to her senses. Calm down Adeline." Louis tried to relax her by putting his arm around her.
Although, Liam regretted the gapping of his eyes but he couldn't help it because comforting others was surely the last thing Liam had ever expected from his brother.
"Are you sure, Louis?" While Adeline's voice was still cracking she leaned on Louis.
"Yes." Louis whispered to her while tightening his arm around her.
Liam's eyes couldn't believe the view he was witnessing but simultaneously he also couldn't accept the wave of envy which emerged within his chest as soon as Adeline leaned on Louis. He was clueless about this feeling which he has surely felt before but it was about Cheryl so the only question he was asking himself was why did he feel envy at the moment? He was extremely anxious because this is something he wasn't supposed to feel but feelings aren't in our control was only the justification his heart can give to him but his mind, his mind clearly wasn't happy about what his chest experienced. It was screaming that this ain't a good sign.
It's been a while and still Adeline was leaning on Louis and Liam was feeling anxious. Liam had checked Marcella's body twice a couple times and everyone especially Adeline was relaxed to learn that the body of her sister is warming up and her breathing is normal. They were just waiting for her to come back to her senses. Liam tried to distract Adeline by asking her some random questions but she didn't reply anything so Louis asked him not to say or ask anything to her.
Adeline's eyes were just displaying the childhood moments of her and Marcella which made her more emotional. She could see her little sister arguing with her for a chocolate. She could also see herself hugging Marcella whose affection still can be felt by her body. She could see herself running after Marcella for her doll and how both the sisters used to sleep on the same bed holding each other.
After sometime, Marcella finally opened her eyes. At first, everything was blurry to her light brown eyes but gradually her eyesight met an unknown place. She rubbed her eyes to see things more clearer which attracted the attention of Adeline, Louis and Liam towards her unconscious state.
Adeline immediately let go off Louis and sat on her knees beside her sister and said "Marcella" while Louis and Liam stood up respectively.
Marcella on hearing the familiar voice moved her eyes in the direction of the voice and was surprised to see those familiar mesmerizing blue eyes. Her eyes steadily followed down the face and she was exceedingly surprised to see those exactly same features of faces as her older sister's.
When she completely looked the face of the girl beside her at once she was surprised to her sister. "Adeline" She said feebly.
"Yes. It's me Marcella, it's your sister." Adeline replied with tears still rolling down her eyes.
On hearing to that Marcella tried to sit on the sofa while tears started falling down through her eyes too.
"Oh,Adeline." Marcella instantly hugged her sister after managing to sit on the sofa with the help of Adeline.
Adeline hugged her back tightly. The tears from the eyes of both of the sisters couldn't stop. It was falling as if this was the moment the whole body and tears of both of them were waiting for.
"What are you staring at?" Liam slowly asked Louis when he noticed him continously gazing in the side of the both of the girls.
"Nothing." Louis replied but his eyes were still focused in that direction.
"Don't lie, tell me." Liam insisted.
Louis after looking at Liam replied "Just the love between them."
"It's so like us." Liam said to which Louis didn't reply but asked "Can I have a glass of water?"
"Sure." Liam said and quickly filled a glass with water from the jug kept on the table behind them and handed it to louis.
"Don't give it to me, give it to that girl." He pointed to Marcella and handed the glass of water back to him.
The moment both of the sisters let go off each other and wiped off each other's tears Liam put the glass of water in front of Marcella. Her perplexed eyes followed up through Liam's face who had a sweet smile on it.
Marcella looked at Adeline and Adeline as if she understood what her sister was trying to figure out said "don't worry, it's Liam and that's Louis." She pointed out to both of the boys respectively and continued "They are my friends. You can trust them."
Marcella calmly took the glass from Liam and drank the water.
"Do you want a glass of water too, Adeline?" Louis asked Adeline while pouring a glass of water for himself.
"Yeah." She looked at Louis and replied.
"Okay." He took another glass and filled it with water. While he was handing over the glass to Adeline, Marcella's eyes fell on Louis and on seeing to him her mind suddenly reminded her of something, something from the past.
(I hope you liked it! Have a lovely day/afternoon/night xoxo)
