Marcella POV:

On my way to the dorm, my mind flied to Liam which led me to worry about if he had found his way to the dance room. There are more than fifty percentage of possibility that he would  have doomed to reach the dance room. I have no idea where Louis is. I really feel that I should go and find him. I told Aurora that I'll be soon back to her dorm after finding Liam because he is alone a literal human in this school in fact in my world right now and it's my responsibility to look after him as he doesn't have any knowledge about magic which is why it would get harder for him to escape if by any chance he gets trapped in any trouble.

"You're the best." I hugged my best friend."Thank you for understanding."

"No, thanks to you for understanding me." She hugged me back. Honestly, she has never thanked me this much before which is now vexing me. I want us to go back to that phase of roasting each other.

"Now stop thanking me or I'll roast the shit out of you." Letting her go, I warned her playfully but I was serious about it.

She gave me a quick cunning smile. "You think you're better at roasting than me?" She rolled her eyes in a sarcastic way.

"We'll see." I replied sarcastically but on a serious note, no one can roast me better than her. If roasting was a job she would have been paid the highest.

"I'll be back soon." Quickly after waving at her, I paced in the opposite direction with intention to find Liam or anyone out of the three because it's been a long time since we last met which kind of  worries me if everything with everyone is alright or not.

As I was walking by a corridor, I heard a someone screaming in terror. Someone needed help and I was sure of that because they were yelling for help. Now I've two options with me, either I go and try to save someone who is in need or continue on my path to find my friends. But the yelling was clearly conveying the message that someone is in need of serious help.

I turned left from where the voice was echoing. The corridor was completely empty. I could hear my foot steps which were obviously inferior to the sound of the person yelling. The voice was echoing all over the corridor. I quickened my pace soon came to the realization that the sound was originating from the boys washroom of this corridor.

Really?

At first I wasn't sure if I should get inside the washroom or not but luckily, I witnessed a boy gradually stepping backwards from the washroom. As soon as I reached to him, the boy was about to fall on the floor due to someone's sudden push but I held him saving him from falling.

"Are you okay?" I asked the boy who seemed like a middle school student but to my amazement, he was more bothered to run away from whatever he was trapped in rather than answering my question. I respect his opinion lol.

My gaze shot infront of me, meeting a pair of beautiful eyes just brown like a wet soil that too in rain whose smell arises the desire in you to completely dissolve yourself in it or which wants you to stay in that moment forever with big eyelashes which is rare to be seen especially in boys. For a moment, everything around me vanished when I was gazing in his eyes bit soon I realized that his brown eyes were looking straight in my eyes making my heart rush for few seconds. I quickly averted my eyes.

"Do you think it's nice to bully someone?" I questioned so that he could stop glaring straight in my eyes because I could still sense it.

"Bully?" His deep, confident and comforting voice was enough to have goosebumps. "Who told you that I was bullying?"

"Ohh, so, now you think that I'm blind?" I countered back when a sudden wave of realization hit me that I've heard this voice somewhere before but where?

"I didn't say that. You just don't know what I was doing here." He threw both of his hands in air in opposite direction to each other trying to justify his actions.

"And what's that I don't know?" I tilted my head a little with my eyes still focused on him while raising my hand to overlap with each other.

"I was" He took few seconds to think. "Ohh yes" he smirked which was honestly very alluring. "I was doing a social experiment." He continued.

"Social experiment, really?" My inner turmoil was clearly visible on my face.

"Yes." He said calmly, taking a step closer to me. It was clear from my expressions that I demanded explanation so, reading that he started explaining "I was trying to check if there's still people with good heart." My head turned from side to side while my eyes got widened again seeking for an explanation. "I asked that boy to shout out loud to check if someone reaches out to him for help and the one who would reach out would definitely have a good heart. So, congratulations you have a good heart." He hurriedly started checking out the pockets of his cloak taking out a small white flower out of it, he handed it to me which resulted in confusion in me."Here's your reward." I noticed a slight change in his tone, he sounded more nervous now.

Gazing at him, I couldn't help but I started giggling. "Ars you serious?" He seemed more relaxed than he was moments ago and started smirking.

"Ohh, you've received kisses from angels? I'm jealous." Glaring at my right cheek, he spoke leaving me confused yet again.

"What?" I asked with confusion clear on my face.

"You've got dimples." He smiled.

It took me a moment to figure out that he was talking about a popular myth that the ones who have dimples have been kissed by angles.

"Ohh." I nodded my head. "My grandma used to say this. Do you believe in these things?"

"I think, now I do." He continued glancing at me.

Before I could understand anything he stepped closer to me inserting the flower under my right ear.

I looked up at me and met his gaze. "Wow, you look…..amazing." He stepped back, his eyes were still focused on me. "You look beautiful actually."

What was this act? I could feel butterflies in my stomach. My heart began to pace but trust me I don't know why because I'm utterly bewildered at the moment. This guy has to be the most perplexed being I've ever met.

"It's your reward." The words he uttered with so much innocence were capable enough to make me giggle.

"I like your smile." He said.

I paused. "Are you trying to flirt with me?" I questioned in a gentle tone.

"If stating facts is called flirting then maybe yes." He replied.

I rolled my eyes trying to hide my smile. He's so good at making up things. I'm impressed by his ability to divert the topic.

Liam, Louis and Adeline…..my mind yelled these names. My eyes widened at the thought.

"I really need to go." I hastily said without giving me any chance to speak I swiveled pacing back on the path I reached the washroom.

"Uhh okay." His tone was a mixture amazement and hesitant.
