Louis's POV:
Over the dining table which were long four tables spread along the length of the immense room divided into four rows house wise. The room was furnished but simple as compared to all the rooms I've visited in the school.Luckily, I, Liam, Adeline were in the same house blue which is called bleu representing freedom and inspiration.
"I really wish humans had magic." Liam said while taking a bite.
"But you guys have a short life. I'll say it too short." Adeline, who was sitting beside him, replied.
"Seriously, that's better." I broke into the conversation. "Longer life means more problems."
Liam smirked at my statement.
"You are a wizard too, Louis. So, you'll have a longer life too." Adeline made a pouty face. "I'll have to tolerate you for a long time. Ahh, you are right. Long life means more problems."
"That wasn't funny at all."
"Yeah because I didn't joke." I rolled my eyes.
"But that's unfair though. Kendrix told us the story of how God cursed us." Liam expressed his thoughts.
"The gods gave you something stronger than magic." Marcella joined the conversation.
"What?" Liam asked.
"Family."
"I guess so." Liam lowered his voice.
"Can I join you guys?" Marcella's best friend asked standing beside Liam and Adeline. She was in the same house as us that's why she was Marcella's roommate.
"Aurora. Obviously." Marcella quickly replied with a smile on her face.
She smiled back at her adjusting herself beside Adeline and opposite to me. "Ohh hey, Louis. All the best." She wished me.
"Thank you." I responded, accompanied by a smile.
"All the best for what?" Marcella inquired.
"You honestly don't know?" Adeline asked in amazement.
"What?"
"There's final of wangic next month and Louis is selected for the bleu team." Adeline informed.
"Yes." Aurora confirmed.
"That's awesome, Louis." Marcella extended a hand to shake "Congratulations! I love that sport." I shook hands with her. The charm on her face tells how much she loves the sport.
"And the final is between bleu and rouge." My attention moved to Adeline but my eyes suddenly fell on Zayn who belonged to red house called rouge whose dining table was just beside our's. He was sitting opposite to a student just behind to Adeline resentfully peering at me. Our eyes met but Adeline words caught my attention "The match between bleu and rouge is the most classic."
"Ohh just like Real Madrid vs FCB?" Liam exclaimed making Marcella and Aurora glanced at him with confusion.
"What's that?" Marcella questioned.
"Nothing. A sport team on the earth." Adeline clarified.
"You really miss football, don't you?" Adeline asked Liam to which he nodded his head.
"I really miss home." He added.
"I understand."
Within few moments we were done with our dinner. I informed Liam that I'll be there for a walk. At first I thought he would want to join me but to my relief, he said that he would go to the dorm as he feels exhausted. Good for me because I'm going to the library. As much as I hate lying to my brother this is important. I need to know reason and I'm sure I'll definitely get something related to all these killings under that teachers section.
I rushed to the library making sure no one catches or notices me. To my luck, when I peeked inside the library through the window exposed to the floor I watched the librarian going to the rest room leaving behind an empty library.
Great.
I carefully ran through the door and with slow steps promptly climbed the stairs. The lights of this floors were off so it will be definitely risky to move farther because if I hit something she'll catch me.
"Miss Adeline? Are you here?" I heard a woman's voice calling out the librarian.
"Yeah." The librarian replied. "I was in the washroom."
"Are you done with checking the library?" The other woman questioned.
"Yeah. Just have to lock it." She informed and a few moments later, I heard the big door slammed closed. Thank God she settled on not switching off all the lights.
After waiting for almost for ten minutes which felt like forever. I took out the torch I was carrying because I knew I'll need this, I walked in the direction of the teacher's section bookshelves following the left path. Unlike other bookshelves, this section had a dim light on so I didn't really require the torch now. I walked in between the bookshelves which didn't end as I kept walking further and soon I was met with two ways one on my left and the other on my right, it felt like a mini library in itself. I chose the left path but to my surprise, it was just an illusion because I got hit and fell backwards. I expected the same of the right to but I was met with a dark path. I walked further and took out my torch when my eyes met the dark violet rays of great intensity due to which my hands immediately raised up to protect my eyes. After a few seconds when my eyes calmed down, I opened them witnessing violate rays coming out of a book kept alone which appeared like podium. I walked closer to the book. To my amazement, picture of the same man as the statue was abouton it. Not really sure about what to do, I picked up the book and opened it. Something very unexpected happened.
I fell down due to a strong force while the ink of all the letters springed off the pages, formed a dark violet pigeon, and started flying. I immediately stood up and started following it soon, finding myself standing in front the golden statue. The pigeon sat on the pigeon on the hand of the man basically, replacing the statue of the pigeon, the violet pigeon positioned itself in the statues hand. As soon as her body met the statue of the man, the statue started moving to it's left making my hear pounding faster than it ever her. I was stunned by the tranquility. It should be hollering because of the way it was moving but it wasn't.
RAs the statue moved, my stare saw a sword. A violet sword placed upside down with fires swirling around it. It was divine.
Who's sword is it?
And why is it been hidden behind this statue?
As a lot of unanswerable questions were already disturbing me when the violet pigeon made up of ink flew, writing something in front of me.
As you have touched the book helping in setting the pigeon free you are the statue's new master. To move the statue please order paloma voladora.
The sword:
