"Our time."

My head was rested on his bare chest. His arm was wrapped around my waist. My arm was hanging over his torso. I took that moment to listen to Siege's steady heartbeat. It was soothing. I almost drifted back into sleep. We were under the warmth of the duvets. The darkness of the room brought about a stillness. It was in the early hours of the morning.

Waking up like that made me feel content. At that moment, I desperately wished that was going to be my forever situation.

"I love you." Murmured out in a low tone. Siege hummed back to show he heard me talking but didn’t hear what I said.

‘’I said I LOVE you.’’ I let out in emphasis. My words came out between a slur and a raspy tone. I closed my eyes tiredly and gave up.

‘’The feeling’s mutual.’’ Siege hummed out in a low tone. Perhaps it was a little too early in the day for us. I let a simple smile rest on my lips.

We were in a wooded area, the trees were set across each other, making a pathway. They were arched forward, tangling with each other above they were making an archway with their leafless branches. Added to that, fireflies danced above to light up the space.

I was beginning to understand the fantasy of the Vixen Kingdom.

It was our first stop on the tour Jorden made for us. Siege told me to forget about the others and see it as our first date. Which I realise we never had. Spending so much time together made me feel as if we did.

The camera strap around his neck and the bulky camera in his hands. I decided to give him something worth capturing. I posing as if my beauty would be magnified with my movements. I switched poses ever so often, making suitable faces. It was going to be such an aesthetic. Especially with the scenery. I gave him a little twirl before turning to face him.

‘’You were here with me.’’ I told him as I took wide steps towards him. I stopped before him and stretched out my arms to get the camera. He gave me a questioning smile as he pulled the camera straps over his head.

I took it from his hands and went to the multiple shot option. I got the nearest rock and placed the lens of the camera on it so it could be tilted up. I set the timer and motioned for Siege to take a seat in the camera view.

I hopped over and sat beside him.

The first shot came unexpectantly. Siege and I glanced at each other only to fall into a fit of laughter. The shots continued to go. We posed with every expression we could think of. I leaned in to place a kiss on Siege’s cheek. He turned to face me and the kiss landed on his lips.

I let out another chuckle as he gazed at me with an expression. It reminded me of our first night together on the roof. When all he wanted to do was to was…

Kiss me.

And so he did, he leaned back in and placed his lips on mine. He wrapped his arm around my waist to pull me closer. My hands went onto his chest. My eyes were closed as I tried to calm my thoughts. He smelled fruity, he tasted sweet. The kiss was bringing a churn in my stomach. Only he could make me feel all woozy like that.

‘’GUYS? I CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU FOR TWO MINUTES.’’ It was Jordan to exclaim. I gently pulled away from Siege before turning to meet the eyes of the Princess. She was at the end of the tunnel, looking like an angry angel. Her hands on her hips and her wings flitching ever so often.
