"Beomgyu? Beomgyu!" A panicked female voice yelled when she saw him getting checked out at the hospital. "Are you okay?" She walked over, setting her purse on a chair and kissing his forehead.

"I'm fine Ari. Just a little shaken up."

"I understand that. Is he okay to come home?" She asked the nurse who nodded.

"Yeah. We just had to make sure he didn't have a concussion or anything. You're lucky you got out of the way in time."

Beomgyu and the others lied. Sure, he was mad everyone was keeping secrets. And he didn't even know what Taehyun's was. But he knew there was a reason why they were keeping everything a secret. He didn't want to be the one to screw everything up by saying Taehyun had super strength.

When they got in the car, it was quiet. Way too quiet. Until Ari sighed and Beomgyu knew, for the upteenth time, he fucked up.

"You know what I would do if I lost you too?"

"What?" Beomgyu whispered.

"Nothing. There's nothing to do if the last person in my life dies. And you almost died."

"Ari there's something about what happened..." He shouldn't tell her. He realized that. "Nevermind."

She looked over at him. "What is it?"

"Nothing-"

"Beomgyu, if something happened, I should know. I'm your best friend. You can trust me."

He knows.

But he doesn't know what would happen to Taehyun, to Kai and Soobin, to any of them, if everything got out.

"It's nothing."

"I don't like secrets Beomgyu."

"Well can you maybe accept that this doesn't concern you?!" He accidentally snapped, the pressure of everything fogging up his mind. "This isn't about you, okay? This is about me and my friends now."

His entire life, he pushed everything aside to help his sister. Make sure she was okay and happy at all times, even though she was way older. But he felt like it was his turn to focus on himself, and... whatever the hell he was dealing with.

Date: January 11th

A few days later, he took a bus to the rich part of the city to go back to Taehyun's house, it being Mingi who answered the door this time.

"Can I talk to Taehyun?"

"No."

"I'm just curious-"

"You can't, okay? We're not associating ourselves with you anymore."

Beomgyu shook his head. "I'm sorry, but I need to see him." He pushed passed Mingi and was about to walk down the hall, but Mingi's voice stopped him.

"You can't because he's not here right now. He's been missing for a few days."

Biting his lip, Beomgyu looked down and felt like everything was his fault. His sister was upset, and Taehyun was gone. He turned to face Mingi with bloodshot eyes.

"What's happening?" He asked.

"It's none of your business," Seonghwa said, entering the main area. "When we tell you to leave, we're not letting you stay so easy like the wolves."

"You all know about them?"

"I'm already busy worrying about Taehyun. I don't need a human here to make everything worse for me and the others. Leave. Now."

Human.

He called him a human.

What the fuck was going on?

He finally left and went home, sitting on his bedroom floor with his guitar. He was horribly stressed out, and thought that music would help a little bit with it. He sung a random song, playing it on the guitar too, but he stopped when he heard the tree by his window rustling.

He looked at it, seeing nothing but black outside, and shivered at the memory of that terrifying nightmare.

It never came back, thank God. But he was still paranoid sometimes. The door opened, making him scream at how on edge he was.

"Beomgyu, you have to go back to school tomorrow."

It was Sunday night. Everything happened on Thursday, and that's the last he heard from Taehyun and all the wolves. He nodded, although it was petty since he only missed Friday.

He hoped Taehyun was there though. Or at least, more people that could give him more answers.
