"Taehyun," Seonghwa said when Beomgyu left to go to the bathroom. "The Advictoriam are in China right now."

Taehyun sighed and slung his bag over his shoulders. "How long do we have?"

"Eight hours. Give or take."

He looked at Taehyun for any type of prediction and the boy just nodded. "I'm taking him across the Pacific."

"Wait, what?!" Seonghwa asked, following him to his room where he started packing his stuff.

"They can't track his scent on a plane. And then I'll drive to a different city from the one we land in. Get me Yeonjun. Get me Ari and her dog. Get me Soobin and Kai. Tell them to pack a bunch of stuff and grab their passports. I'll buy the tickets."

This was a stupid idea.

Seonghwa understood that, but he wasn't sure Taehyun did.

After literally hundreds of years of taking the law enforcement's side and not helping Taehyun though, he left to go get everybody. He raised the young vampire to be strong. And now he was. He was stupid, but he was strong.

And he had a big heart. That's what mattered.

"Taehyun, should I use coconut or-"

"That doesn't matter. Pack your things," Taehyun said, hurriedly looking at Beomgyu who was about to take a shower before his last day of high school.

"Rude."

"Beomgyu, I'm serious."

That made Beomgyu walk over and grab a suitcase to start packing his things. "What is this about?"

***

"Tell me why we're flying to America?" Ari questioned as they all walked through the airport.

"It's business," Beomgyu said, almost making Soobin snort for some reason.

Finding out he was a vampire was definitely news for the wolves, especially the ones he was friends with.

"Why do I need to come?"

"Just because," Taehyun answered this time, already irritated from the questions everyone was asking.

By the time they got to Los Angeles, it was 1 a.m. Tuesday in Seoul, and 9 a.m. Monday in Los Angelas.

"We'll go to a smaller city when we rent a car. Yeonjun, you be the translator for them since you speak the best English," Taehyun said, grabbing Beomgyu's hand as they walked out of the airport.

"I'm still confused," Ari said. "Why do we need to move around?"

"The mafia is after us," Kai said.

Technically he wasn't wrong. It was an Italian group who had some of the same traits as the mafia.

"That's not believable."

"Sometimes you have to believe in the impossible," Beomgyu said, looking at Taehyun who was angrily clicking on his phone. "What?"

"I can't get on Google Maps," he said, repeatedly clicking Google Photos, and then accidentally going to the settings.

"Boomer," he said, taking Taehyun's phone to get to the maps.

"I'm not a Boomer."

He was technically right.

He was a hell of a lot older than a Boomer.

"Are we going to a motel?" Beomgyu asked and Taehyun nodded. "Okay..." he looked online for high rated ones and they ended up getting there an hour later.

Soobin, Juliet, and Ari were sharing a room, Taehyun and Beomgyu were obviously sharing a room, and Kai and Yeonjun were sharing one, which confused Taehyun to no end.

*9 p.m.*

"Tomorrow we're gonna go to Dayton."

"Isn't that across the country though?" Beomgyu asked, looking at Taehyun from across the small table in the room.

Taehyun shrugged. "I just want you to be safe."

"You don't need to. If you all survived the torture, then I can too."

"I'm not gonna let that happen to you," Taehyun shook his head and Beomgyu sighed.

"Such a brat. I want food." He grabbed the phone on the table and looked at the menu that was there for the number for pizza.

"And I'm the brat." Taehyun playfully rolled his eyes. While Beomgyu was ordering the pizza with the most adorable broken English Taehyun had ever heard, the older looked out the window when he heard rain. "It's pouring out there. Do you like rain?"

Beomgyu looked at him as he listened to the employee on the other line and shrugged in the most "are you seirous?" way possible.

Taehyun laughed a little bit, walking over to sit in Beomgyu's lap as the boy continued ordering. He played with the soft brown hair and sighed in content, feeling a wave of bliss with Beomgyu.

Wow.

500 years and he finally got a vampire to call his.

Why did it take him so long? And why was Beomgyu the only person he cared about enough to let stick around?

Once Beomgyu finally hung up, Taehyun kissed him. There was nothing to it. Just a simple kiss.

"What was that for?" Beomgyu asked, furrowing his eyebrows when Taehyun buried his face in his neck.

"I don't wanna lose you."

"What-"

"Ever. Promise me. Please promise me that I'll never lose you."

Beomgyu was confused and worried. The things that Taehyun said were alarming.

"What's on your mind Taehyun?"

"The Advictoriam." He pulled away, and for the first time in the last 500 years, he said, "I'm scared."

A/N: Again, he's hot.
