38. Downtown

A/N: That's basically Beomgyu standing next to me sjfhsjdj.

Date: May 6th

"How do you get a boyfriend?" Yeonjun complained as he and Beomgyu sat in a café talking. "It didn't really work out with Kai because he's wolf. I mean, I've had relationships before, but they're hard to find now."

"Maybe because you're a vampire who doesn't eat anything on your first dates." Beomgyu laughed and took a drink of the suspicious red liquid that had multiple people around them looking at them funny.

Beomgyu looked around and spotted a cute boy sitting by a window on the other side of the café. He was drawing and looked innocent. Yeonjun's favorite type of boy.

"Look at him. He looks innocent. You like that."

Yeonjun turned around, only to gasp and look back at Beomgyu. "Hell no. The only reason he looks innocent is because he looks like that fucking werewolf who's always getting on my nerves."

Beomgyu looked at the guy again and gasped when he saw it too. "He does look like Soobin Hyung. Oh my God. You should go talk to him."

"Why?" Yeonjun whined.

"Because he's cuteeee. Come on Hyung. Do it for me. I'm sick of hearing you complaining about mine and Taehyun's relationship 24/7." Yeonjun groaned and stood up, making Beomgyu smile and follow him over to the boy.

Yeonjun was frozen in place, his usual outgoing and silly persona long gone as he stared at the gorgeous person.

"This is my friend Yeonjun," Beomgyu said, catching his attention. "I'm Beomgyu. Is it okay if we sit here?"

"Mhm."

They sat across from him and Beomgyu started. "I don't know why he's being so quiet. He's usually loud and obnoxious." Yeonjun glared at him.

"That's okay. I'm Kevin by the way." He shook both their hands, shivering at their freezing skin. "So what brings you guys here?"

"Um..." Yeonjun looked at the bisexual flag pin on Kevin's book bag and smiled. "I wanted to know if you were maybe looking for a relationship? Or something? Just getting to know each other. I don't know. This is embarrassing. I should go."

"No, it's fine," Kevin smiled sweetly, making him slowly sit back down. "I think you're kind of cute anyway."

Yeonjun's eyes widened.

Was it really that easy this entire time?

"Beomgyu, you fucker!" Yeonjun yelled, entering Taegyu's bedroom and disturbing their movie night.

"The fuck bro," Taehyun said, pausing it.

""He looks all innocent. You should go for it." Well guess what! It's hard for vampires to get exhausted and I am so fucking worn out!" He flopped down on the bed next to them and Beomgyu giggled. "I was the top too. The fuck?"

"You have less sexual stamina than Beomgyu when he was a human," Taehyun laughed and Beomgyu hit his arm.

"Well at least you got laid for the first time in like four decades," Beomgyu said, taking the remote from Taehyun and playing the movie. Yeonjun saw that it was an old 50's movie and laid normally to watch it with them, making Taehyun sigh at the lack of privacy.

Date: May 7th

"Taking a walk through downtown is the ideal double date?" Taehyun asked.

"I think it is," Kevin answered. "It's not too hot out today either. Plus we can stop to get food or go shopping or something."

Yeonjun, Kevin, Taehyun, and Beomgyu continued walking through downtown, listening to the sounds of sirens and car horns everywhere.

"This place is even busier than Vancouver."

They all looked at Kevin with wide eyes. "You're from Vancouver?!" Taehyun asked.

"Yeah..." he looked at the map of his phone and they stopped at an intersection. "We gotta go this way."

They waited by the crosswalk and smiled at a large group of little children who were probably on a field trip or something.

Beomgyu tilted his head and looked around, Taehyun noticing after a while. "What is it?"

"Police sirens. They're probably nothing."

It was a very busy intersection, so it was taking forever for the walking symbol to show up. When it finally did though Beomgyu stopped the three of them from walking.

"What?" Yeonjun asked.

Beomgyu looked up, and then down the street that the kids were currently crossing. Taehyun looked too, seeing a speeding car out of control with multiple cop cars chasing it.

"Beomgyu, no!" He yelled when said boy ran in front of the kids and held his hands out to stop it.

Taehyun looked around in horror, seeing multiple bystanders whispering.

But that wasn't the terrifying part.

It was the little plastic devices they were holding in their hands that were pointing at Beomgyu.
