32. Get Out

Date: June 27th

"Taehyun?" Uchinaga called, genuinely worried about him.

He had been in his room for the last couple of days, ignoring everyone and everything.

"Taehyun, please come out. I've missed you. We all have. What even happened?

Taehyun showered, brushed his hair, and ate. But he never said a word to any of them. Part of it was that he felt humiliated. He finally found someone who he loved, and he got his heart shattered.

Of course, they would never laugh at him for that. He knew that. They knew relationships were hard, especially with a new vampire since the whole Advictoriam thing screwed everything up. They didn't even know Beomgyu was at fault though.

They just knew something hurt the Hell out of Taehyun.

She was about to knock again when the door opened. He didn't look tired. He was dressed neatly. Well... a clean smelling sweatshirt wasn't necessarily neat, but at least he was taking care of himself.

"I got you fresh food." She grabbed his hand and led him to the empty living room. "Tell me what happened. Please," she said, handing him the cup. He stared down at the red liquid and slowly shook his head, alarming her.

"I don't wanna do this anymore."

Her eyes widened. "Okay... I'm not as old as you, by a long run. But come on Taehyun. You've been dragged through Hell way too many times to just give up willingly."

"The only person I've ever had feelings for is gone, Uchinaga."

She gasped in horror. "He died?!"

"No! Jesus!" He groaned and she started giggling, immediately becoming serious when he glared at her. "He slept with an Advictoriam."

"Who did?" Seonghwa asked, walking in.

"Nobody..."

"Beomgyu did!"

Taehyun rolled his eyes at her and looked at Seonghwa who looked angry. "After everything you did for him..."

"Don't do that."

Seonghwa's eyes widened and he stood in front of Taehyun. "Are you defending him?!"

"No..."

"Soobin told us he was part of the Advictoriam for a little bit but I didn't know he would cheat on you with one of them." Taehyun looked down at his hands and Seonghwa sighed. "Uchinaga, can you give us a minute?" She nodded and quickly ran away. "How do you know he did?"

"They told me and he didn't deny it. He started saying he wanted to explain." He shook his head. "I don't know if I made the right choice-"

"Fuck him, Taehyun, okay? Stop sticking up for someone who thought you weren't good enough for him. Come on." He yanked him off the couch and Taehyun started looking around in confusion.

"Where are we going?"

"To an aquarium."

Taehyun's eyes lit up. Seonghwa knew how much he liked animals. "Okay," he said, livening up a little bit.

The only thing that's made him happy in the last couple of days was knowing that Ari and Juliet were home safe and sound. Beomgyu might've been a jerk but his sister wasn't.

A little bit later, "Did you have fun?"

"Yes. Thank you Hyung," Taehyun smiled, turning up the radio in Seonghwa's car. "Today really helped."

"I'm glad. You've been all depressed lately over an idiot."

Taehyun felt an ounce of anger at that, ready to fight anyone who said anything bad about Beomgyu.

But it went away quickly.

After everything they went through together, it was gone. All because like Seonghwa said, Beomgyu thought Taehyun wasn't good enough for him.

Date: December 24th

"You guys are crazy," Taehyun laughed as they all came back inside, still mad that it was raining on Christmas Eve instead of snowing.

"What? I made one "your mom" joke and now I'm crazy?" Yeonjun laughed.

"My mom is dead!" Yunho yelled and they all started laughing more.

Jeez, talk about dark humor.

"Make sure to go to sleep so Santa will come tonight lesbians!" Minjeong yelled, dragging Jimin, who was finally her girlfriend, to their room.

"Santa as in Seonghwa because... rich," Taehyun said, smiling at Seonghwa who had his boyfriend cuddled up next to him.

God he still missed that.

"Yup. Unfortunately..."

He shut his eyes and Taehyun laughed, looking at the door when someone knocked on it. He went to go answer it, quickly trying to close it when he saw who it was.

"Get out!" He screamed and Seonghwa immediately ran over to see what was happening.

The other vampire was still stronger though and he kicked the door open, making Taehyun harshly fall to the floor.

"Beomgyu, get out," Seonghwa said in a warning tone.

"Well if you would let me fucking speak instead of constantly being so closed minded."

"Dude shut the fuck up before I make you leave," Seonghwa said and Yeosang stood up to grab his arm.

"Why don't we give them time to talk?"

"No. He doesn't deserve Taehyun's time. He's a piece of shit."

"I wanna talk," Taehyun said, looking up at the soaking wet brunette and Seonghwa rolled his eyes.

"Fine. But I'm staying right here."

"Fine." Beomgyu grabbed Taehyun's hand and pulled him out so they were standing in the rain. "Tae-"

Taehyun slapped him.

"You deserved that, but I'll listen to you."
