18. Advictoriam

A/N: Cedar Point was fun. We only ended up going on two roller coasters though. One of them was my favorite one, and the other one is like my favorite one's sister coaster lol.

"The Advictoriam," Seonghwa said, opening a door to a large hallway.

It took a hundred years until Seonghwa finally took him to the place in Italy he was talking about.

La Casa Del Gatto.

Otherwise known as the sanctuary of the head vampires, but the humans didn't know that. It just so happens that if one of them stepped inside to look around, the head vampires weren't afraid of killing them themselves. They just didn't like when other vampires did it.

The reason for that was that regular vampires usually didn't know how to not make a huge scene, or at least, how to clean up their mess. The head vampires, or as Seonghwa had taught him, The Advictoriam, were the only ones able to kill without reprecussion.

As much as Seonghwa respected them, it was unfair to him.

"Do I have to walk in a certain way?" Taehyun asked, making Seonghwa laugh a little bit.

"No. They're not Gods, although they certainly do like to hold themselves at such a high title."

Taehyun's eyes widened in fear for Seonghwa. Vampires had insane super hearing, so he feared that they could hear everything Seonghwa was saying.

They walked into a large room, Taehyun gulping at the panel of vampires wearing black robes.

"Remember, you can say no," Seonghwa said as they walked up.

"Do you wish to join us?" One of them, who Taehyun assumed to be the leader, asked.

Seonghwa told him they would ask him that, and he could say no. It was fine. "No."

He was wondering why he was brought here in the first place if Seonghwa had the assumption that Taehyun would say no anyway. Taehyun had good training. He didn't need a fancy title and this fancy building to be happy or succeed.

"Very well. Guards." Multiple vampires came over to start dragging Taehyun away and he and Seonghwa were both visibly panicking.

"Wait, what?! You said to bring him to you to ask him to join you!" Seonghwa yelled in anger, knowing where they were taking him.

"Well the rules have changed. You can have him back in a week."

"Seonghwa!" Taehyun screamed, trying to pull away from the multiple vampires. But Seonghwa couldn't get to him, even though he wanted to.

"Why?" Taehyun asked, focusing his eyes on a spot on the floor and once again flipping the blade

"They want to speak to him."

Taehyun shook his head and reached out to grab Yeosang's hand. "You don't know what they did to me."

"I'll be okay," Yeosang smiled. "Seonghwa said they changed it a lot. The other vampires didn't like it." Seonghwa still looked nervous though and Taehyun stood up to hug Yeosang.
