"Beomgyu, you're going to the party Friday night, right?" A random girl asked and he shrugged.

"I didn't know there was a party."

"Everyone's gonna be there."

"Everyone?" He hoped she was telling the truth. His friends weren't here. Their friends weren't here. Taehyun's friends weren't here either.

He was alone.

"Yeah. We all think you're cool. You should come. I'll send you the address."

She walked away and he looked around, sighing at just everything. He was so stressed out, and none of this had anything to do with him. He wanted to go to Taehyun's house, the fear of Seonghwa being the only thing keeping him away from that part of town.

But it wasn't even only Taehyun. He was still a little bit freaked out to find out that his best friends were werewolves, but that didn't mean he didn't miss them.

He took out his phone when it started ringing, sighing in relief when he saw the caller ID.

"Soobin," he said, walking over to an empty part of the hallway.

"Hey. Are you alright?"

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"I was just wondering. Sorry we're not there today."

"Why have you guys been ignoring me?"

A sigh was heard at the other end. "Just after what happened with Taehyun... everything's been weird. Can you leave school right now?"

Thank God, Beomgyu thought.

"Yeah."

"Great. Go out the exit in the gym. I'll be there."

He hung up and Beomgyu walked to the gym with a smile. Finally. Someone finally wanted to talk to him. When he got outside though, he didn't see Soobin, which confused him. But he yelped when he felt something bump the back of his knee, and turned around.

If Beomgyu didn't assume that this huge black wolf was his best friend, he would've ran away screaming, obviously. But instead, he kneeled down in the snow, reaching a shaky hand out to pet his head.

"Soobin?" He asked, smiling when the wolf made a soft noise. "You're really pretty..." Soobin nudged him a little bit to get him to stand up and Beomgyu understood, climbing onto his back. When he says these wolves were huge, he means he had to seriously jump just to partially get on him, and Beomgyu's very tall himself. "What if someone sees you?" He didn't have time to realize that was a stupid question, as Soobin couldn't speak, because the wolf started running at full speed into the woods. "Soobin, slow down!" He giggled, holding onto his neck as they zoomed passed endless trees and hills.

Until they stopped. Right by a cliff. Beomgyu sat up, tilting his head when he saw one of Taehyun's friends, Yeonjun, on the other side of this ravine.

"Yeonjun?!" He called out, getting off the wolf.

"I need to show you... and tell you something," the black haired boy replied, walking backwards.

Beomgyu was confused, but he just watched anyway, gasping when Yeonjun ran forward and jumped off. "Yeonjun!" He screamed, eyes widening when he ended up making it across and landing right by him. "Th-that's like 100 feet. How did you-" he looked at Yeonjun and saw a smirk form on the older boy's lips.

And then he remembered.

None of them were human.

"What are you?" He asked. Yeonjun turned around for a second, but when he turned back, Beomgyu stepped backward and looked down at the ground.

Yeonjun was holding eye contacts in his hand, and his eyes were a deep shade of red. "Guess."

"Can you like... give me more clues?"

Yeonjun was kind, but he nearly rolled his eyes at how obvious it was. Red eyes, pale skin, abnormal speed and strength, the fact that they were rivals with werewolves?

"I'm turning 321 years old in September. I've been a vampire for 300 years."

Beomgyu's eyes widened, but after learning about werewolves, it really wasn't surprising.

"So... I was in a house full of vampires?" Yeonjun nodded. "No wonder it was so creepy."

Yeonjun laughed and looked at Soobin. "Why don't you go back to your pack? I'll take care of Beomgyu." Soobin ran away and Beomgyu looked back at Yeonjun.

"How come you're able to be in the sunlight?"

"It's an urban legend. We just sunburn way easier than humans."

Beomgyu nodded and bit his lip. "Um... have you heard from Taehyun?"

"That's why I did this," Yeonjun said. "He's been acting weird since you came to our house for the first time. But no, I haven't seen him."

"How old is he?"

"519. The second oldest out of all of us. And it's been 500 years since he became a vampire."

"Is Seonghwa the oldest?" Yeonjun nodded.

"Get on my back." Beomgyu did, easily hopping on his back this time. "Hold on tight, okay?"

Beomgyu nodded, tightening his arms and legs before the vampire jumped over the ravine again, making it to the other side and quickly running away. Damn, he was fast, Beomgyu thought, watching all the trees move even faster passed them.

It made him think about Taehyun. If the boy was way older than Yeonjun, was he way faster too? He didn't know why he kept thinking about him. Maybe it's because he and Taehyun told each other a lot so far. He told Taehyun things that he would never tell just anyone.

So why did he tell him?
