44. Hobak

Date: December 20th

"It's been a couple hundred years since we've last been to a vampire wedding, right?" Yeonjun asked, adjusting his white suit.

"I don't know what you do with your time," Hongjoong said, laughing when Yeonjun glared at him. "So Beomgyu said not to tell Taehyun anything about it. He's surprising him."

"I know, I know," Yeonjun waved him off. He looked at his phone to see a super long text from Beomgyu of everything he wanted Yeonjun to set up. "Bellflowers? Bellflowers with blood on them- what the hell-"

"Let me see that." Hongjoong snatched his phone and looked at the text message. "Okay... we can do that. There are different colors of those flowers. We should get the white ones."

Yeonjun's eyes widened. It was insane how much Beomgyu wanted. He had told them about most of it over the course of the month, but now that it was the day before the big event, he wanted a bunch of flowers covered in blood?

"I'll get the blood and you get the flowers," Yeonjun sighed, leaving to go find Kevin. "Hello my love," he said when he saw the boy sitting at the kitchen counter with a plate of food. "How are you?"

"Good. Are you going somewhere?"

Yeonjun nodded. "Yeah. Wanna come with and you can watch me fuck a few people up?"

"Always." They both started laughing before getting ready to go.

"Where are they? They were supposed to be here twenty minutes ago."

"There's a lot of us. You can't expect everyone to be here on time," Taehyun said, taking a sip of his water as Beomgyu complained.

"Literally all of us have near super speed except for Kevin. And he's already here!" He reached down to give Hobak a handful of treats and Taehyun sighed.

"Will you stop giving my cat handfuls of treats? He's getting fat because you stress feed him all the time."

"But he's so cute and he loves them."

"I know he loves them. But giving him multiple handfuls in one day isn't good for him." Beomgyu stared at him and lowered his hand further to the ground to drop the treats and Taehyun quickly caught them. "Stop. Only give him a few. I know you're stressed out about tomorrow. But it'll be fine. Yeonjun and some of the others aren't here because they're busy helping you. They're working to make it easier on us."

Beomgyu sighed and nodded, petting Hobak before standing up. "I know. I'm just nervous about tonight too."

"I know you are." Tonight, they were going through all the plans for tomorrow with everybody. But only a few of them were here.

"It's making me freak out."

"Beomgyu," Taehyun softly said, cupping his face in his hands to get him to make eye contact. "I will do everything in my power to make sure tomorrow is everything you dreamed it would be, okay?" Beomgyu's lip quivered and Taehyun encased him in a bear hug, hating when his love was sad or stressed out. "You wanna talk about it?"

Beomgyu shook his head. "There's nothing to talk about. I'm just stressed."

"You shouldn't be. This should be a happy day. It will be a happy day. I'll make sure of it. I promise. Please don't worry yourself. I don't like seeing you like this."

Taehyun hugging him was enough for Beomgyu to release his sensed muscles and sigh in content at his comforting words.

The rest of them arrived a little bit later and Taehyun finally got a clue as to what Beomgyu was making it look like. There was some black, the isle and seats were white with black legs, and all the flowers were white bellflowers covered in blood.

"Why bellflowers?" Lia asked.

"We were sitting in a field of bellflowers when Taehyun proposed," Beomgyu said, giggling at the way everyone was cooing at them. "So guests... anyone can bring anyone as long as they know about vampires and werewolves. Kevin, you're coming right?"

"Of course."

"Okay... you're the only human so far. Just to let you know, most of the food will be meat because that's what the wolves mainly eat. You can order your own food if you don't like that though. I'll pay for it or whatever. Um... is that it?"

He looked at Taehyun, shyly smiling when the other nodded with a smile.

Tomorrow was gonna be the best day of his life.
