31. I Wanna Be A Human Again

A/N: The title. It is surprisingly not Beomgyu who says that.

Date: June 24th

"Taehyun," Soobin said, walking over to the vampire. "Are we leaving anytime soon?"

"We've only been here for a week."

"I'm getting bad feelings."

Taehyun looked at him. Werewolves were scary good at being able to tell when things were wrong. That's one of the reasons Taehyun brought him along. So they got all their stuff packed up and left.

"Is it the Advictoriam?" Beomgyu asked.

"I don't know, but-" Taehyun stopped walking. They all did. "Shit."

Three black figures were standing by the car and Taehyun stepped in front of Beomgyu. "I don't wanna go," Beomgyu shook his head. "I change my mind. I'm scared."

"What do you want?" Taehyun asked. One of them took off their hood, and Taehyun's eyes widened when he saw the blonde girl.

"Hello Kang Taehyun."

Beomgyu looked at Taehyun. "Who is she?"

"The girl who tortured me."

He looked at her in fear. Both of them did. But Soobin just looked at them in anger and annoyance.

"What do you need?" Soobin repeated the question and the girl looked at him, and then back at Taehyun.

"You brought a dog for protection?"

"No. But if he needs to, he will."

The girl chucked a little bit and nodded. "Very well. Now it's up to you. Either come join us for six months, or... well, you know what happens."

Wait.

"Six months?" Beomgyu asked. "I thought I would have to join you forever." She shook her head and he looked at Taehyun in confusion, but the other was shocked by this too. "So I can join you-"

"No," Taehyun said. "It'll still be bad."

The girl shrugged. "Say what you want about it I guess. But you and I had a lot of fun back then. And besides, you two are together, right?" They both nodded and she smiled. "Well... that sucks."

"Why?" Soobin asked.

"It was just recently that Beomgyu was having sex with one of us."

Taehyun looked at him and Beomgyu's jaw dropped. "Wait-"

"What?" Taehyun's voice cracked and he stepped back a little bit.

"Taehyun, please-"

"Oh my God." Soobin shook his head in disbelief, looking away from them since it got awkward.

"I've just been trying to protect you," Taehyun said. "And at first, it shocked me, but then I didn't believe it. But why are you not denying it?"

"You have to let me explain what happened."

Taehyun shook his head and Beomgyu looked down. "No. No, no because... for 500 years, I've been alone! I've been with a lot of humans, but none of them I cared about enough to spend the rest of my life with! And then you came along and you made me think of everything! And I cared about you! I made sure you had a roof over your head and food on your table after I saved your sister's life! And you fucking cheated on me?!"

Both of them looked like they were about to cry, and Soobin put his hand on Taehyun's arm. "Let's go home." Beomgyu stepped back, toward the Advictoriam, and Taehyun looked down. "Come on. Shake it off and ignore him. Let's go home. You need to rest."

"He-" he looked up at Soobin and his lip quivered seeing the Advictoriam running away with Beomgyu. "He hurt me."

"I know."

"How could he do that?"

Soobin shook his head. "I don't know. Just forget about him."

"I can't." He looked up at him again and whimpered. "Vampires can't cry," he said, rubbing his eyes with his black sweater paws. "I can't cry. I wanna cry so bad."

He hid his face in Soobin's chest, shaking in anger and frustration.

"Soobin?"

"Hm?"

"I wanna be a human again."
