Chapter 34:
The Heart Wife
Bournemouth, England
Year 2006
"TWO months to go! We're about to finish studying, mate!"
For the whole time that he took his master's degree, they were roommates. "I can't believe it the same. A year just passed by that quickly."
"Agreed!
Jack's studying Master of Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing full time in Bournemouth University. Editor-in-chief! That fast! Everything's going according to his plans.
Naglakad sila palabas ng university. "I still feel bad that you and Thalia broke up. You were the most perfect couple in class."
Walang pinag-aawayan, laging magkasundo. Although his ex-girlfriend said he's the "ideal" guy or partner, still, he must have done something not right during the relationship.
"Well, some relationships just don't last. Besides, she's happy pursuing her theater career. That's what matters most, right?"
She helped him adjust to the English lifestyle easily. She became a constant companion, aside from Maxwell. So, maybe the purpose of Thalia's life to Jack's ends there. He's fine, no heart-wrenching pain. He wished Thalia the best while he does his best, too. And now, he's going to finish his master's degree soon.
"You'll go to America right after the graduation. You might get a fairer lady out there," ngisi ni Maxwell.
"Ah, let's see about that. I'm not currently looking for someone, though." "I suppose I still need to work on myself more."
"Well then, good luck, mate! I might return to Wales after graduating. Let's stay good mates!"
"Oh, you're not coming back with me to the flat?" tanong niya rito.
"I'll stay at my girl's place; didn't I tell you?"
Nag-isip si Jack. "Really? Maybe you did and I just forgot."
"Did you? I wrote it in our reminder's board. Anyway, I'll be boarding there for a week. Have some fun alone, mate!"
He likes staying with his long-term partner's place more often.
Isn't it too early for snow?
"Hello there!"
