Natalie's POV
"That dress, on you. WOW. You look stunning." I say as I look at Alex and take my shirt and bottoms off.
"Well I'm glad because I bought this dress so you can take it off." Alex says.
"Oh my god. Stay here." I say as I put something to cover myself up.
"Where are you going?"
"You just gave me an idea for a song. I'll be back I promise." I yell.
I run down to the studio as I grab my notebook and pencil.
I start scribbling down some lyrics as I turn on my computer and immediately start finding what I'm looking for.
I walk to the piano as I change the setting from electric keyboard to synthesizer. I press the keys as I find the tune I'm looking for.
My mind races as I find the beat and the first layer of the song. I grab my computer as I call Taylor since I left my phone in the room.
"Yes?" Taylor asks as she pops onto my screen.
"You have to hear this, tell me what you think." I say.
I walk over to the piano as I start playing the layer of music and sing the first couple lines I have.
"Sounds good so far, a single?" Taylor asks.
"Maybe." I say with a shrug. "I do have that one song ready to release."
"I'll buy this one from you." Taylor says and my eyes widen. "I had a song like this in mind but didn't know how to put it to life but you put it to life."
"You don't have to buy it from me you're my sister, I'll help you produce the song and help you if you need me too but absolutely no money involved. I'll agree to food though." I say with a grin.
"Of course, food."
I hear someone clear their throat and my eyes widen as I remember what I was doing just before this.
"What did you do?" Tay asks me.
"It's been two hours babe." Alex says her raspy voice raspier than usual.
"Wait. TWO hours?" I ask as I spin my chair to face Alex. "I've been here for two hours?"
"Sounds right." Taylor says and I smile at Alex.
"It's her fault." I say pointing to the computer screen.
"Who? There's no one there." Alex says.
I furrow my eyebrows as I turn around to look at the screen.
Blank screen. Blank space on the computer screen.
"Son of a bitch. She ended the call." I mumble. I turn around as I face Alex with a smile. "Alex baby."
"Don't 'Alex baby' me Natalie Liliana." Alex says and I gulp.
"You um.. you used the middle name?"
"I did."
"I'm sorry but technically you gave me the idea to a song." I say with a shrug as I turn around to face my equipment.
"Oh so it's my fault?" Alex says and my eyes widen.
I quickly close my computer as I get up from the chair and walk towards Alex.
"Now now hold your horses." I say as I wrap my arms around Alex.
"Seriously?" Alex says and I laugh.
"Sorry I couldn't help it. But hey I didn't say that baby."
"You didn't have to." Alex huffs.
"I just got carried away with the song you inspired me to write. Let me make it up to you." I say with a smile as I wiggle my eyebrows.
"What kind of making up?" Alex asks and I laugh.
"The kind you like." I husk out as I nip on her neck. "You know which."
"Mm." Alex sighs out as she places her hands on my stomach. "If I accept your apology can I listen to whatever you and Taylor have been working on for the past couple months?"
I laugh into her neck as I shake my head.
"It's confidential. Can't say a peep." I say placing my index finger on her lips. "But I'm sure either way you'd love my form of an apology for well.."
"Forgetting about me in the room?"
"Yeah... that."
"You're right, let's make up shall we?" Alex asks and I nod my head fast.
Alex's POV
"Flawless." Nat says as she rests her hands behind her head.
Her voice is a bit lower than mine, no raspiness but definitely lower. Advantage to her if I say so it's just sexy as hell. Don't even get me started on her morning voice.
"Amazing." I whisper.
I laid my head down on her chest as I placed my hand on her bare stomach, tracing patterns on her toned stomach.
"You know I've been thinking."
"Should I be worried?" I ask and Nat flicks my forehead. "Ow."
"I mean how did I, out of like billions of people get lucky enough to call Alex Morgan my girlfriend. I mean someone must have done some spells or sorcery. Yeah sorcery!"
I roll my eyes as I rub my forehead from her flicking me. I lean in as I place a kiss right under her jaw.
"It's called I fell for you."
"I mean we did bump into each other like twice at the concert remember?"
"Oh trust me. I remember. I remember it well." I grumble.
"Is my number one fan still teasing you about it?" Nat asks and I look up as I shoot her a glare. "Hey it's not my fault Tobin teases you about it."
"Whatever." I scoff.
Nat laughs as she pulls me into her, her arm wrapped around me as she kisses my head. Blanket pulled over us as I take in the last bit of time I'll have with her until who knows when.
"Marry me?"
I whip my head to face Nat as I look at her with wide eyes.
"What did you say?" I ask.
"I said Dairy Queen." Nat says pointing to the commercial on the TV.
"Oh. Right. Dairy Queen. I thought you said something else." I say with a laugh.
"Yeah why? What did you hear me say? What did you think I said?" Nat asks as she looks at me funny.
"Nothing nothing. Nothing it doesn't even make sense, I just didn't understand. Sounded like gibberish." I say as I lay my head back on her chest.
"What did you hear? I wanna know." Nat says as she pokes me.
"Nothing it was nothing." I say waving my hand.
"Suuree."
Well my head is definitely somewhere else.
