Natalie's POV

"You think anyone can see us?" I whisper to Taylor.

"Oh no of course not, definitely not. They definitely can't see us from this area." Taylor says sarcastically.

"Even with our hats?"

"You're not as slick as you think you are bub. You're such a rookie." Taylor says and I roll my eyes. "Look, we're trending."

"Oh great. Well then what's the point of these absurd jackets in this heat." I say as I take my jacket off and place it on my seat.

Today is the first game of the World Cup. Well for the U.S.

Taylor and I got on a plane as soon as my concert was over, we also made sure mom was here the night before with Selena. While I am very much jet lagged, I'm very happy to be supporting my wife and the team.

"Your new song is climbing the charts." Taylor whispers.

Did I release a song in the middle of my tour? Yes. Yes I did.

"A picture for the scrapbook." Taylor says as she holds her phone ready to take a picture.

"You and your scrapbook." I say shaking my head.

Taylor raises her arm to take the picture then rests her head against my arm and I rest my head on top of hers.

We quickly take a picture as the game is about to begin and I make sure to put my baseball cap back on to block the sun.

I grab my phone scrolling through Twitter when I see a couple of tweets that has nothing to do with my music but my personal life. Great.

E! News @enews: The Swift sisters have been spotted in France as they are heading over to watch the first group stage match of the USWNT at the World Cup.

Natalie Swift also has a concert tomorrow night so tomorrow should be hectic for the singer.

"So when are we going to talk about what happened that another night? You were acting so weird. Who was with you?"

"No one." I say as I look towards the field. "WOO."

"Natalie."

"I'm trying to watch the game."

"Love the jerseys ladies. Sorry I'm late. Have I missed anything?" Selena asks.

"Nothing at all." I say as I move over to get away from Taylor.

"Natalie."

"Let's go Alex!" I shout. "And team. And team!"

"So subtle." Selena whispers.

"Yeah yeah." I say waving her away and grabbing my phone with my other hand.

Laura: Tears. Literal tears streaming down my face to your new song. You're officially hitting top 100 as of now with your new song. Enjoy the game. I'll see you tomorrow.

I smile as I text Laura back. Top 100 nice. Nice. Nice.

Nice.

"Goal!"

"Yeah Alex!" Taylor shouts.

"That's my wife." I whisper to them making sure to cover my mouth. They both giggle as we all clap and continue to cheer.

"That's my sister in law." Taylor whispers and I laugh.

"We're so good at keeping secrets." I say laughing. "But at least we don't keep secrets from each other."

Taylor laughs and nods her head, I turn back around but hear mumbling which makes me turn back around.

"Did you say something?"

"What? Me? No. Nothing." Taylor says and I raise my eyebrow. "Nothing. I didn't say anything."

"You've been acting weird."

"Like you haven't either." Taylor says.

"Me acting weird? Absolutely not."

"You're a terrible liar."

"Or am I just that good of a liar, ever think of that?"

"Watch the game."

"I'm watching."

Me: Proud of you baby! I'll see you soon. Message me when you get to your hotel. I love you mi amor ❤️

I let out a lengthy relieved sigh as I send the message to Alex. I look through the rest of my unread messages when I see one that catches my attention.

Lizzie 💛: I'm in love with her. More than anything in this world. Thank you for your help. Love you, be safe. Keep an eye on my girl for me while you're there please. See you soon babes 🤍

"You my dear Nat are going to sleep right away. You have a sold out concert tomorrow night." Selena says as we walk into our shared room.

"How you're going to manage to do all of this for the next month makes no sense to me. You're going to need a vacation after it's over." Taylor says and I laugh.

"I signed up for this. Now as long as everything runs smoothly I'll be fine." I say

"How's Jason? Did you ever call him back?"

"I did. I did. We're civil, he was at the last concert remember? I just can't believe he's still working. Sure as chief but still it's a heavy job." I say setting my wallet and phone down.

"Well I'm glad you two are finally getting along, you deserve somewhat of a relationship with your father."

"Not all fathers are great but those who want to be a part of your life will definitely put in the work. He sure has so far." Selena says and I smile.

"I love you guys."

"We love you more bub." Taylor says as she pulls me into her, pulling me down so she can kiss my head.
