Natalie's POV

"Gorgeous." I mumble to myself as I write on my notebook. "World to know? Friends to know? World to know. Definitely world to know."

I grab my guitar, my pencil now in my mouth as I strum a chord. I play what I have then nod my head as I figured out what was missing.

I write down the chords on my paper and as I did there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I shout.

I jot down everything when the knocking continues. My eyebrows furrowed.

"I said come in!" I shout.

The knocking continues making me huff out, putting down my guitar, I get up and walk to the door.

"Ye- baby!" I shout as I leap onto Alex. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Portland? I mean whatever you're here!"

"Did you forget you're taller than me?" Alex grunts as she pushes me back up. "You're not heavy but you're taller and you just leaped onto me. I'd say I would've dropped you if you weren't my girlfriend."

"To think I would've let you come inside where it's warm." I huff out.

"Let me in you dork I've missed you so much." Alex says as she wraps her arms around my waist, her head resting against my stomach. "Please?"

"You're cute, I'll keep you around. Come in."

I help Alex get inside the bus and close the door. I quickly put everything away as I left a big mess.

"What are you up to?" Alex asks.

"Nothing just writing." I say with a smile. "My bed is the second one on the left if you want to lay down."

"Oh yes please." Alex says as she walks over to my bunk.

I smile as I lean against the wall. Alex quickly pulled the blankets over herself making me laugh. I walked over as I patted her leg for her to scoot over. Once Alex moved a bit I got in bed as well, as soon as I laid down Alex rested her head on my chest.

"So are you going to tell me how you got here?" I ask Alex as I run my fingers through her hair. "Truly the best surprise."

"Taylor called me she's the one who brought me here. She had security all ready for me, paid for my expenses." Alex says and I hum.

"I'm surprised she didn't have a private plane for you or something." I say with a light chuckle.

"She did." Alex says making my eyes widen.

"Oh crap. Okay. Then again she has the money so I can't say I'm surprised."

"Well I was very much surprised. A private plane for just myself. I don't know about you but to me that's more than what I was expecting."

"She tends to go overboard sometimes though."

"Knock knock, I'm coming in." Taylor shouts.

I kiss Alex's forehead as I watch Taylor walk over to us, a smile on her face.

"You two are adorable." Taylor says as she tilts her head and scrunches her nose. "Especially you."

Taylor grabs my face and pinches my cheeks, in return I try to bite her.

"Taylor."

"You're so cute."

"Yeah you're cute." Alex says, her chin now resting on my chest.

"See thank you Alex."

"I'll never win." I mumble.

"Hey Alex was everything okay on the way here?" Taylor asks as she lets go of my face.

"It was wonderful thank you."

I feel my pocket buzz, I wiggle a little to pull my phone out. I look at the contact name and I look at Taylor. I end the call and put my phone back in my pocket.

"Was that not important?" Alex asks and I smile.

"Uhhh no, it was just Niall." I say as I reach down to peck her lips.

"Just Niall? Is that not important then?"

"Work can wait and Niall can wait. I have my girlfriend with me so work can wait."

"If you need to take that call you definitely can. I don't want to interrupt." Alex says and I shake my head.

"Well I hope you liked my surprise." Taylor says, I look up at her and smile.

"Thank you."

"Figured since Joe is around, you should at least be able to have your partner here too for some time." Taylor says, she leans down and pecks my forehead. "I'll leave you two alone. Oh and please for my sake and for literally everyone else. Don't do anything in here."

"Oh my god of course not."

"You just never know." Taylor says shrugging as she walks out the bus.

I look back at Alex, her blue eyes once again captivating me. Her hand goes up towards my neck and slowly inside my shirt.

"Um yes?" I ask.

Alex shakes her head as she pulls something out from under my shirt, a smile on her face.

"You have it on." Alex says as she looks at the necklace then up at me.

"Of course I do. I'd never take it off baby. I always have it on. Why? Did you think I'd really take it off?" I ask with an eyebrow raised.

"No it's just cute. You're cute." Alex says looking at me.

"I'm surprised no one has seen it, at the same time thankful because I want you all to myself."

Alex smiles as she pushes herself up. I place my hand on her cheek a smile on my face as I look at Alex. Our lips slowly connect, the rhythm of the kiss slow and steady. I move my hands down to her waist as our lips continue moving. We slowly pull apart, our foreheads resting against each other's.

"So how long do I have you here for?" I ask.

"Three days." Alex says.

"I'll take it." I say with a smile.

"I love you."

"I love you more.
