Natalie gets a big break and becomes the lead guitarist for a well known artist. Tours and music is her life. Dating life? Semi non existent. Until one tour.. one concert.. which changes her whole life, once again.
"Happy New Years!" Taylor shouts as she lifts her glass of wine.
"Happy anniversary." I whisper to Alex as I place a kiss on her lips.
"Happy anniversary."
"One year married how cute." Taylor says as she walks over to us. "And a child on the way. Get ready ladies, today is the day."
"Fun." I say taking her glass of wine away from her. "You're done with wine for the night and whatever other alcoholic beverages you were drinking. Way too much."
"I'm fine."
"No." I say shaking my head. "Come on sit down."
"I love you, you know that right? You're my favorite sister." Taylor says.
"I'm your only sister."
"That's what makes it so special." Taylor says and I look at Alex who's looking at me confused.
"You get drunk so easily I kind of hate it." I say patting her head. "You're such a pain."
"Oh but you love me so much."
"Unfortunately." I mumble.
"I heard you."
"Just sit down, for my sake."
Taylor has officially moved in with us. And I don't mind it one bit because I have what apparently our therapist said is called, "separation anxiety". It's so false. I don't have that. I can live my life without having Taylor close to me all the damn time.
Right? Whatever that doesn't matter right now.
Today is a big deal. Today is important. Today will be something..
We all went to bed and woke up at around eight am. I woke up earlier to make breakfast for Alex. Breakfast in bed with flowers and her favorite chocolate. Cravings you know. Something I learned is always have chocolate nearby. It will save your life.
We spent the whole morning in bed, which eventually led to the afternoon, we took a quick shower and headed to the living room.
"Good morning you two, well barely morning, almost afternoon." Taylor says.
"Good morning to you." I say as I walk over to her, kissing the top of her head. "How are you feeling?"
"Better but I woke up with a massive headache."
"Thought so." I say with a chuckle.
"But let's talk now. So are we ready?" Taylor asks, looking over at Alex.
"Ready." Alex says. "I'm ready. We're ready."
"Great. Good. I'm glad. So shall we do it now?" Taylor asks as she reacher for her phone. "It's almost noon."
"Let's do it." I say as I hold Alex. "Are you actually ready babe?"
"I'm ready. I'm so ready for it." Alex says and I nod.
"Then let's do it." I say, I kiss Alex's cheek and then turn to face Taylor. "It's time."
Taylor smiles, a soft expression on her face. It comforted me. I pull my phone out as I head to Instagram.
"Three.. two.. one." Taylor says. Both of us posting what we had planned. "It's done."
"It's done." I say letting out a deep breath.
