Natalie's POV

"Last minute planning, the wedding is in less than a month." Taylor says as she scrambles through my desk.

"By all means come in, I'm not busy or anything." I say as I rub Kona's head.

"Great thanks."

I shake my head as I go back to my computer, finishing the last details to everything.

"Today's the day." Taylor says, her hand on my head as she ruffles my hair. "I'm proud of you."

"I'm nervous."

"It's your first one but there's no reason to be, you're going to do great."

Today I will be announcing that I will in fact go on tour next year. Which is also during the World Cup. So guess who's looking like a fool now? Me.

"Did you fix the issue?" Taylor asks me.

"That's what I've been doing for the past couple of months." I say.

I've done my best to make my way around the dates when Alex plays. Which means no concerts during the World Cup, well yes but they'll be on days Alex isn't playing. I got it figured out.

I hope.

"Merch?"

"I got that done."

"Your band?"

"I'm sure I have that Taylor." I say.

"Just making sure."

"Did you contact everyone else? Send the invitations?"

"For the dinner? Yes." Taylor says and I hum.

"Okay great. Which reminds me we need to go over the guest list again, I need Alex to make sure she's comfortable with the people I'm inviting. Since we are trying to keep this private."

"I'll let her know."

"Thanks."

I feel a heavy weight on my legs, I look underneath my desk to see Kona asleep.

"Great. Now I can't move or else Kona will wake up. Wonderful."

"See you at seven pm then. Love you."

"Love you. Wait where are you going?"

"Places."

"Like where?" I ask.

"Get back to work."

"Fine."

I continue to work as I finish editing what I'll be posting later tonight. As I continue working I receive a FaceTime call.

"Nooo." I groan as I see who it is. "Where's Laura when I need her."

"Hello."

"Great you answered." Laura says.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I?"

"We've got many things to do before tonight. I have everything ready, you'll have two interviews again, then that's all until after the wedding."

"Love that."

"Your sister and mom are going on tour with you?" Tree asks.

"Yes." I say as I focus on my computer screen. "Well mostly my mom, Taylor has other things to do but mom will be with me the whole time."

"Okay. Taylor has a tight schedule this year." Tree says as she takes notes.

"Tell her to take a break. I need her with me."
