Natalie's POV

"Oh you made it!" Andrea shouts as I walk into the house.

"Well I made a pit stop. Had to bring this lovely lady with me." I say as I point at Alex. "Can't have her spending her holidays alone."

"Alexandra so nice to officially meet you, my daughters here talk about you a lot. I'm Andrea."

"Nice to meet you Andrea, also it's Alex. Everyone calls me Alex."

"Alex it is. Come in and take a seat. Natalie make your girlfriend feel at home." Andrea says and I chuckle.

"Hey squirt." Austin says as he gets me in a headlock.

"What the- Austin's let me go!" I grunt as I try to take his arm off of me.

"Austin let go of Nat." Taylor says which makes Austin let go of me. "Hi bubs, nice to see you here."

"Well it wouldn't be a family holiday without me now would it?" I say.

"Of course not, the royal highness shall never be absent of these holidays." Taylor says as she walks over to us.

Taylor gives me a tight hug as she looks over to Alex and smiles. Alex smiles awkwardly and I laugh.

"It's just Taylor, Alex. You've literally met her before and talked to her." I say.

"Well yeah but like now it seems so real. This isn't out in public how it normally is this is like in her home and actually knowing her behind all the fame and cameras." Alex says and I laugh. "This is actually like real."

"Well be aware she's a biter." I snicker as I walk into the dinning room.

It's cute seeing Alex completely in awe and well taking things in. It's also nice to know she'll meet the family that raised me when I had nowhere else to go. It feels so real now having her be with us for the holidays.

We all gather at the table as we sit down, grabbing our plates and serving ourselves with food.

"Nat said you're vegan so we tried our best." Mom says and I smile.

"Oh wow thank you, I hope it wasn't a bother." Alex says.

"None at all."

I swiftly move my hand under the table as I move my hand on top of Alex's thigh, giving her a small pat as I look up at Alex and smile.

"Well I am NOT vegan so I'll enjoy my food." I say as I take a bite of my food.

We begin to eat and have conversations, a bit of a bonding moment. Interesting to see Scott trying to have a conversation with Alex.

I feel someone kick my leg and I look across from me as I swing my leg and kick Austin. I snort as Austin drops his fork and clutches onto his shin.

"You little-."

"We don't use profanity at the table Austin." I say as I nod my head and take a bite of my food.

Once we're finished eating we head over to the living room. I make sure to have Alex next to me, a blanket covering our legs.

"We're happy to have you for the holidays Alex. Natalie has talked about you quite a lot." Andrea says and I feel myself blush.

"Good things I hope." Alex says as she turns to look at me.

"All good things." Andrea says and I smile.

"Does she know about um the incident?" Alex whispers in my ear.

"She does actually." I say as I look over to Taylor.

"Oh well then okay." Alex whispers and I nod.

"Yep."

The others have their own conversation, talking about what Austin does.

"I'm sorry I ruined your relationship with your family." I whisper to Alex.

"Oh no don't apologize, it's fine. I saw it coming either way, my mother is very.."

"Close minded?" I say.

"Yeah." Alex says and I nod.

"But they're your family Al."

"It's okay babe, I have you." Alex whispers as she leans in to kiss my cheek. "I've only ever wanted you."

"I love you."

"Alright what movie are we watching tonight?" Taylor asks.

"Let me watch my Disney movies!" I say as I throw a pillow at Taylor.

"No you choose the same ones every time." Taylor says.

"But they're good movies."

"How about we let Alex choose tonight?" Andrea says.

"Sounds good to me." Austin says.

We all nod in agreement as we turn to Alex.

"How about a good Hunger Games?"

"Huh. That's not a bad movie. Alison put the movie on." I say as I throw another pillow at her head.

"Watch yourself Nat."

"Do they just not do anything about you two?" Alex whispers.

"Nope, they've had enough of us fighting. They're tired of us." I whisper.

"Oh." Alex says laughing.

The movie begins, Alex snuggles into me as I wrap my arms around her.

"Thank you for inviting me over for the holidays."

"Couldn't have you be alone for Christmas plus it's our first Christmas together well technically second but our first together in the same place." I say.

"I love you."

"I love you too Al."

"Keep it down you two." Taylor shouts as she throws a pillow at us.

"Oof. Yep okay got it, we got the hint." I say giving her a thumbs up.

"The Swift family, what an adventure." Alex whispers making me laugh. "I love it already."

"Well get used to it." I whisper, I wink at her before I turn back to the tv.
