Natalie's POV

"Happy birthday my love." I whisper as Alex comes out of our room. "Charlie and I made you breakfast."

"You both made me breakfast? That's so cute, I love when you make breakfast. You're so sweet babe." Alex says as she walks over to the table, while I go over to set Charlie in the crib we have in our living room.

"Since when do you admit you love my cooking?" I ask laughing. "You're being weird, are you okay?"

"I love you."

"I love you."

"Come." Alex says as she grabs my hand and pulls me into the hallway. "Thank you."

"For?"

"Everything. I can't imagine my life without you, if we hadn't won the World Cup, would I have still met you?" Alex says and I tilt my head as I place my hands on her hips.

"I think we were destined to be together, I'm sure we would've met one way or another."

Alex hums as she places her head against my chest, I moved my hands to her lower back, as we swayed to the music I had going.

"I'm never admitting on interviews how good your cooking is."

"I knew it. You don't want to admit it in front of cameras because then you'd be admitting you're a terrible cook."

"Now that's just false accusations. I'm a great cook." Alex says as she looks up at me, eyebrows furrowed making me grin. "You're annoying."

"You married me."

"I suppose I did." Alex says and I scoff.

"What does that mean. I can eat your breakfast, you know I can and I will."

"Don't threaten my food, threaten my use of the pool but never my food." Alex says as she goes to the table and takes a seat.

"Oh by the way Taylor bought you one of those massage chairs you've been wanting for a very long time."

"No way, she did? Where is it? That's so sweet of her, did she know you hadn't gotten it yet?" Alex asks and I roll my eyes.

"I was already going to buy it I was just busy, it was in the cart."

"Sure it was babe. Where is Taylor anyway?" Alex asks.

"She's staying in the half home." I say as I hand her a fork.

"The one that's attached to this one?"

"Yes. The only one."

"Why?"

"Because Al, in her words she wanted us to be alone and enjoy your birthday together."

"But she's family." Alex says and I shrug my shoulders.

"I didn't say it she did. What do you want me to do."

"Call her and tell her to come." Alex says as she hands me my phone.

"Babe. She's going to say no. I know her. She's going to insist we spend your birthday alone."
