Natalie's POV

"Tomorrow is our one year anniversary Al." I say with a smile as I see Alex through the screen of my phone.

"It's so sucky that I can't even see you on our one year anniversary. That's simply ass." Alex says and I laugh.

"I'll see you when I can though. You'll kick ass in your games that's for sure." I say with a grin and a proud nod.

"Do you have any plans for today?"

I move my hands onto my lap as I wipe the sweat off my palms on my shorts.

"I mean no not really, Taylor and I are just going to hangout tonight. It's movie night."

"Ah yes I can't interrupt this sacred movie night you guys have. Why don't you guys have karaoke night or something? I mean you two clearly have the singing part down." Alex says and I rub the back of my neck.

"Well.." I say as I rub the back of my neck and looking away from the camera.

"Oh my god you guys have done karaoke night. Clearly something happened." Alex says.

"Austin is a sore loser. Taylor and I get too competitive and it usually ends up in a disaster. We've broken a couple of things during so." I say as I laugh nervously. "We've decided karaoke isn't it for this family. Andrea usually can't stop us and Scott well he doesn't necessarily help, he's just there."

"I see there is chaos in the Swift household." Alex says and I snort.

"Oh always." I say nodding my head.

"Hi Alex, I'm gonna have to take Nat from you now. It's kind of important." Taylor says and I frown.

"Now?" I ask with a pout.

"Yes. Now."

"It's okay, whatever it is I'm sure it's important." Alex says, a soft smile on her face yet her eyes said other wise.

"Oh trust me, it's VERY important." Taylor says as she pinches me.

"Ow!" I screech, Taylor looks at me with wide eyes and I get the hint. "Oh my god. Yes it's very important. I gotta go but I love you."

"Bye, I love you too." Alex says.

I quickly hang up and I rub my leg.

"You didn't have to pinch me."

"Well you weren't getting the hint, come on you have places to be and calls to make." Taylor says.

"Yes ma'am."

Taylor and I quickly went do our office well my office and I grin as we walk past the big picture frame of a picture of Taylor and I during Christmas.

The first Christmas I spent with them.

"I'm gonna get questions, how do I avoid answering them?"

"Just don't answer them. You're not going out either way, you're staying home." Taylor says as her eyes are glued to the computer as she does who knows what.

"You think there'll be like speculations?"

"Trust me there will definitely be people asking lots of questions after you do what you'll do. People will always find things and start speculations about stuff."

I bounce my leg up and down as I start getting anxious.

"I don't know Tay, suddenly I'm having second thoughts." I say as I rub the back of my neck.

"You got this bubs."

"You still won't stop with the bubs will you?" I ask and she smiles.

"Nope, you'll always be my bubs." Taylor says as she boops my nose.

"I'm only five years younger." I pout.

"Bubs." Tay says and I groan. "Stop whining and come finish this because we're on a tight schedule."

"I know. I know."

I grab my iPad and Apple Pencil as I finish some of the last touches.

"I'm so proud of you." Taylor says as she kisses the back of my head. "You never needed me."

"Oh no, trust me. I'll always need you."

"Just like I'll always need you by my side."

I smile as I lean my head back onto Tay, her hand patting my head and I laugh.

"You know I'll always have your back right?" I say as I look up.

"I know just like I'll always have your back." Taylor says as she leans down pecking my forehead.

I smile as I continue drawing on my iPad.

"You two look beautiful and happy." Taylor says as she grabs the small picture frame, a picture of Alex and I at the beach for a date.

"I've never been more happy." I say as I play with the necklace around my neck.

"You know what song I think of when I think of you two, a song by me by the way." Taylor says with a smile.

"Which one?"

"Track 14." Taylor says and I laugh. "It is based on Joe and I but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a bit you and Alex."

"It's a good one." I say with a smile. "I'm happy for us. We're thriving."

Taylor laughs as she ruffles my hair and walks out the studio.

"Through ups and down we'll always get through it all." Taylor shouts from the hallway.

I look down at my iPad and I grin.

"Perfect."
