Natalie's POV

"I'm here."

"I'm in my room." I shout as I put on my green sweats. "I'm just glad I don't have to wear jeans."

"How nervous were you?" Taylor asks as she opens the door to my room. "How nervous are you?"

"I'm terrified. I mean it's not the longest thing we'll do but yeah." I say as I grab my hoodie. "I'm ready for anything."

"Come on they're waiting for us downstairs." Taylor says as she grabs my hand, pulling me downstairs.

We're filming a small documentary? I think that's what you call it. We're filming a longer one as well but that won't be released until we decide to stop filming. That documentary is long, like it should be at LEAST three hours.

"Just answer the questions and that's how it works." The interviewer says and I nod.

"Cool." I say as I fix my mic.

"And rolling."

"You were there the night everything went down at the VMA's. What do you remember from that night?" The lady interviewing me says.

Starting tough. I see.

"What do I remember?" I say and I sigh. "Oh god I remember everything from that night. I was what fifteen I think. But I remember being at the house watching everything live. I regret many things that night."

"Like what?"

"Like not being able to stand up for her, or try to defend her, protect her. Now I'm older and I'm able to do that more. To say what I want to those who want to talk bad about her. I'm always more worried about what people say about the people I love rather than what they say about me."

"I think that's wonderful." The lady says and I smile. "How would you say you are in terms of fame?"

What a turn. Damn.

"I could compare myself to the an upcoming artist right now such as Jus-? No wait that's the smallest artist right now. Someone bigger, I don't know like a breaking artist like Dua Lipa and yet I'm nothing compared to her. Fame was never important to me, Taylor always knew that and she knows that. Taylor gave me the opportunity to do what I love. Now I do what I love and although I'm held to high standards I know what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. I'm doing it because I love it."

Taylor's POV

"Your sister." Selena says as she sits in front of me. Selena is interviewing me for the first part.

"Yes." I say.

"What's something you admire about her?"

"Everything. She's all I wish I could be. She's gentle, she's kind, she's actually very patient, she's the kind of person you should have in your life. She's sunshine. She's brave. I think what she went through at such a young age is something that I don't wish upon anyone."

"What is she to you?"

"She's my protector. People don't know it but behind closed doors when no one is watching she's the first to embrace me and hold me when I have days where I don't feel like going back out anymore. She's truly amazing. She's what has kept me sane and grounded with everything that the media portrays."

"You say a protector? In what ways is she a protector?"

"In every way. I mean she got into a fight once at school after she heard someone talk bad about me, I mean they didn't know she knew me so it was strange for them to see her react the way she did but they never said anything else. I don't think people understand just how much she protects me. Or how she saved me from my deepest thoughts. Like I said, she's sunshine. But like many people who are sunshine, they're often the ones who are broken the most. It doesn't mean they can't be sunshine, they just also need their own sunshine."

"Are you her sunshine?" Selena asks.

"I'd like to think so." I say with a laugh. "Maybe I am she hasn't told me I don't know. But I know she does have someone who radiates that sunshine to her the way she radiates that to me and that makes me happy."

"Has your sister ever inspired any songs of yours?"

"Lots of them, I think some I write from what I think is her perspective, but also knowing how she feels and tells me, has inspired me to write songs." I say with a smile.

"Is there any song in particular?"

"There is one, one song that truly made me think about her, I wrote it for her, for us. It's a very meaningful song when you realize I wrote it thinking about her, about us. It captures it all just right."

"What song is that?"

"I don't think I'll say." I say with a smirk and shake my head.

"Does she know?"

"I don't think so but I'd rather not tell her because she'll probably not want to hear it again. It's a song she already is emotional about."

"Anything you'd like to add?" The interviewer sitting next to Selena asks and I tilt my head.

"My sister. I love her more than anything in this world and no one will ever understand that. I have had my fair share with anxiety and panic attacks. She's always there to make sure I'll be okay. You know when you're uncontrollably sobbing and can't stop, and you can't breathe? She runs to me and helps me sit down, she holds my hands and then looks me in the eyes. And it's like everything fades away."

My voice begins to shake a little as I let out a watery laugh.

"For so long she was sabotaging herself. She wasn't in control of many things that happened but she blamed herself for it. She learned to love herself, she learned she could be loved too. She became my light. She's my safe space."

"Selena anything you'd like to add?" The interviewer asks and I turn to Selena.

"She really is someone you should have in your life. She's bright, she's sunshine. She has the spark in her eyes that never dims. She's loyal. And I love everything about her, she's also been my protector."

"She won't see this until it's released so I want to add something else." I say as I look at the camera. "Bub you have been such a light to me and I love you more than you can imagine. I'm so happy for you and all your accomplishments. You've helped me grow and heal. We healed together. We went through many things together and now we're here, enjoying our lives. Thinking we're still teens."

"That's a wrap for today. We'll continue tomorrow."

I look over to Selena who's smiling.

"What?"

"Nothing I just love you both so much."

"We love you."
