I want to thank all of you for reaching the Epilogue! This is so heartwarming and at the same time, I kinda feel sad because this is where Team Maharot would bid their goodbyes. I hope you had fun reading Guia and Pierce's ever after! I owe you all a lot!

Who would have thought that I would finally choose to settle down? Who would've thought everything between us worked out fine? The woman that I used to be who's fond of hopping from one island to another seemed to be a faraway dream now.

Ang dami rin pala talagang nabago sa'kin mula nang makilala ko si Pierce. I became a better version of myself. I learned to accept that not everyone will value you. But those who will are the ones who would stay with you 'til the end.

"Boracay, here we coooome!" I shouted as half of my upper body was out the window. I heard his laugh inside. Papunta pa lang kami ngayon sa pier kung saan kami sasakay ng barko papuntang Aklan. At dahil nasa Mindoro naman ako at si Pierce ay umuuwi sa amin para sa'kin, nag-decide kaming magbakasyong dalawa.

"Babe, sit properly na," sabi niya. Natawa ako sa walang kupas niyang ka-conyo-han bago sinunod ang sinabi niya.

Nang makaupo na ako nang ayos ay agad niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko. I squeezed his hand as I watched other cars pass by us. Super chill lang mag-drive ni Pierce na parang wala kaming biyahe. Mabuti nalang at mamayang alas diez pa ang barko pero alas otso palang ay nasa daan na kami. Iiwan namin sa port ang kotse. We were once again jamming to Zack Tabudlo's songs. This will forever be our thing.

It's only been four months since we've been engaged. And guess what? Pierce and I chose to celebrate our birthday this year in Boracay. And maybe, dito na rin kami titira together...

"So, same way of celebrating?" Tanong niya habang nasa daan ang mga mata. May suot siyang specs ngayon. Come to think of it, simula nang maging kami, bihira niyang suotin ang salamin niya sa mata.

"Yes, tapos s'mores and bonfire tomorrow night kasi for sure pagod tayo sa biyahe kung mamayang gabi," nakangiting sabi ko, bakas ang excitement sa boses kahit bukas pa namin gagawin at kahit hindi na namin birthday no'n.

"Okay! S'mores and bonfire for Guia and Pierce's post-birthday party!"

Humalakhak ako dahil sa masayang anunsyo niya habang nagmamaneho. I played with my phone and tapped the Instagram app to catch him on cam and post it on my story. He has a smile dangling on his lips tapos bigla niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko.

I had an idea so, tinutok ko ang camera sa kamay naming magkawak at pagkatapos ay sa kaniya naman. I even zoomed in on his face and chuckled when he glanced at it that made him pout.

Bumitaw ako sa hawak niya at pinagka-abalahan ang phone ko. Ilang saglit pa ay nagchat sa akin sina Ate Raia at sinabing ingat kami sa trip. Nakita ko pang may mentioned story pala silang lahat sa amin ni Pierce and it was birthday greetings for us. Pinasalamatan ko naman sila and ni-re-story 'yon.

Two hours later, nakatanaw kaming dalawa sa dagat. Just like the scene during the first time he went in Mindoro. Pinanonood namin ang pagsalubong ng barko sa mga alon. Hindi gaanong malalakas ang mga alon dahil siguro tapos na rin ang mga maulang araw. It's August now.

Nakasandal ako sa dibdib ni Pierce habang nakatayo kaming dalawa malapit sa railings. He was hugging me from the back at ang mga braso ko naman ay nasa ibabaw ng kaniya. The good thing sa bayan namin, kaunti lang ang buma-biyahe papuntang Bora kaya naman malaya kaming nakakapag-PDA ni Pierce ngayon dahil halos 'di lalampas sa sampung turista ang kasama namin dito sa barko.
