Logan paced around on a giant table that was sat in front of a giant couch. He had managed to move the giant to the couch with his magic, though it was harder than he thought it would be and he was starting to feel tired.
Just when he thought he should leave, the human groaned and raised a hand to his face. He rubbed his eyes and sat up, looking confused.
Logan cleared his throat, trying to work up the nerve to speak. "Uh... excuse me? Human?"
The giant jolted at the sound of his voice and quickly turned to the fairy that was on his coffee table. Logan could tell he was still very panicked.
"Are you... okay?" Logan asked, hoping the human understood him.
"Oh my god..." Thomas said breathlessly. "You're... you're a fairy."
"Of course, what else would I be?"
"Oh my god, oh my god! I-I am so sorry about trapping you under that cup! I didn't know you're a fairy, I swear!"
"Well, thank you for the apology I suppose. But to be fair, I did break into your home."
"Are-are you going to hurt me?" Thomas backed away further from the fairy.
"No...? Why would I? You were rude earlier, yes, but that doesn't warrant me hurting you. Now if you had attacked me with the intent of harm, then I would have fought back. But I'm not going to harm you in any way! And you're much bigger than me, so my main goal would have been to get away."
"But-but don't fae do that? Don't they hurt or kill humans that are rude?"
"Where did you hear that from?! We don't do anything of the sort! At least, none of the fairies from my colony do. In fact, we've hardly ever seen humans. We thought you were myths!"
"You thought we were myths! We thought fairies were myths! And that you guys are super dangerous."
"I suppose we can be dangerous. Is it true that humans don't have magic?"
"Y-yeah. None of us do. Do you?"
"Of course. Well, there are some fairies that don't have magic, and we all only have one type of magic, but it's still magic."
"So that... that thing you did with the cup earlier," Thomas had difficulty explaining. "Was that magic?"
"Yes, I simply moved the air the way I wanted it to. I have wind magic."
"Oh... so that's how I ended up here?"
"Correct."
"I-I see..."
"Ah, how rude of me, I almost forgot to introduce myself to you. I'm Logan." The fairy put his hand out to shake the human's, before it hit him that the giant was, well giant.
Still, Thomas smiled slightly and carefully took his hand between his finger and thumb. "I'm called Thomas. Wait- I forgot I'm not supposed to tell fairies my name!"
"What? Why not?"
"Ar-aren't names powerful? Can't you use it against me?"
"No? Where did you hear such foolish things?"
"Myths...?"
"I see... Humans are strange creatures. Well, names don't give fairies power over you, so you are safe."
"Well... apparently we got a lot wrong."
"Now, I have so many questions for you." Logan smiled wide. "First, what exactly is a road? And what are the vehicles that you go in when traveling on the road? A friend told me about them. Also, what do you eat? And what's your currency, if you have one at all."
