Unexpected

In life we always wonder who will our first kiss be with, or what will our first love feel like, or better yet how will it feel to lose our virginity but we never wonder what our first heartbreak will feel like or how would it feel to lose someone you loved so much.

To have that person be taken away from your life and never seeing them again. Probably because the thought of it kills us and the thought alone is unbearable.

My best friend Jess was murdered a year ago I can never forget when I found out it killed me. I wasn't the same for months angry at the world just wanting to die. Nothing seemed to matter anymore because someone I loved had been brutally murdered and the police didn't even know who had done it. Someone once told me that "Every song ends, but is that any reason not to enjoy the music."

Ever since then I never stopped enjoying the music even when I knew the song would end I just enjoyed it. Life was like music each day ends, but you should still enjoy each moment of that day. My life wasn't exactly perfect it was average my family wasn't dysfunctional but we weren't the Brady Brunch. Everyone has their imperfections and I excepted that. My parents were always working I knew that they did it because they loved me but it got overwhelming at times. I learned to be mature at a very young age taking on responsiblities that at 8 years old wasn't easy.

I was never the girl to go to parties or hang with friends. I usually stayed home and studied or just watched t.v.

At times I wish that I could just be a normal 16 year old girl with little worries and just went to school and got decent grades and that was it.

It was about to be my Senior year of high school and I planned on making it the most memorable and I got what I wanted and it all started that summer but I didn't expect it to happen the way it did. I would never forget the day when I met her she changed my life.
